Hello! My name is B.W. (they/them) and I've been on Flight Rising since 2014! When I joined it was at the height of my adoptable/pet sim craze (which meant I purchased many designs off deviant art that I never did anything with and also joined multiple pet sites that..also..collected dust..) and I'm glad to finally have logged back in!
Adoptables/Pet Simulators have always scratched and itch for me as both a hoarder collector of knickknacks and an illustrator. I find the worlds these critters fall into allows all sorts of interpretation which is super fun to tap into creatively! These days I've not as active as I once was in digital spaces; most of my artwork is for a single role-play server that I joined about a year ago or for personal projects with my friends/partner. I'm looking forward to once again entering a place where I don't really know anyone and don't have any pressure to do artwork or create stories for any other reason than fun. As a full-time worker who is about to enter their 30s I'm not sure if I'll find a lot of time for FL but I hope that the moments I can wander in I'll be able to connect with the community and just..have a good time!

Ironically I don't consider myself to be aligned with lighting or electricity at all! Most of my works are inspired by nature and have a very organic feel. I love working with mixed media and enjoy the challenge of making humanoid/creature designs based off of preexisting creatures (ex:pokemon) or abstract prompts.
