It was a place where everything was perfect: No one fought, no one hated, no one committed misdeeds against another... But it came at a price. Because once, the Kingdom of Star had been quite the opposite. It was a place of war and anger and hatred. The queen at that time made a Faustian bargain to save her people: She had all of their emotions sealed away. Without feeling, no one would be angry or hateful. They wouldn't even be sad or needing. But they did not want or dream either. She had made a mistake (obviously.) The Kingdom was at peace, sure, but it was also silent. Unmoving. The dragons like dolls, devoid of feeling and purpose. But the Queen, having seen her own people unhappy before, thought this was fine. She ruled on, unwilling to admit her mistake. That is, until the first Star from her kingdom fell to the land below... and became the seed of rebellion. [/columns] --------- The [b]Stardrop Legacy[/b] is a collection of breeding projects that I am doing here on Flightrising. I've always wanted to do something more with the lineage mechanic of the game. While I say "the," there will be multiple lineages that form an unwinding story. I am very happy to give away some babies & would love to see the lore expand in the future! The Queen kept a tight grip on her secret kingdom and its people, but things still fell through the cracks. specifically, [i]hatchlings.[/i] The Stardrop Legacy consists of many lineages, and each lineage stems from a Kingdom native who fell to the surface. Once on the surface, the hold of the Queen's curse began to weaken. Some of the dropped stars wished to return to the sky to live in nothingness again, while others vowed to return and free the others from the Queen's curse. Each lineage starts from a different native and has had a different reaction to the curse. Please read their information for specific lore. [nextcol] --------- [/size][/font][/columns] ------

As she fell from the skies, Lilacia was saved by a miraculous bolt of lightning. Perhaps an act of the Stormcatcher, or maybe just chance all together. Whatever the cause, it left her eyes lightning blue. Lilacia grew among other Lightning dragons, who treated her as an orphaned hatchling. But she could never shake an uncomfortable feeling from her heart. She grew filled with all of the hate and frustrations of the Star Kingdom's citizens, which had been sealed by the Queen's curse. Now on the surface, Lilacia felt their anger as if a curse itself. She tried to ignore it. Lilacia found her first mate and attempted to settle into a family. She laid only one egg and it rotted black. After a wave of grief, she was assured that it was no fault of her own. She tried again, but her three next eggs rotted in a similar manner. With a pattern now forming, the idea of a "curse" crossed Lilacia's mind. She traveled to the lands of the Arcane in search of an answer. There, a scholar was able to pick up on traces of a curse upon her. They gave her a pendent to absorb the magic. With her next clutch, only one egg went black. The scholar was able to examine this egg and determine that Lilacia carried an ancient curse in her very genetics. However, that curse did not exist in her two surviving offspring. It would require further study. Her forth clutch came and, with it, four eggs. Again, the curse did not seem to be present in the offspring. Lilacia and the scholar had no way of realizing that it lay dormant within their tertiary gene. So, Lilacia tried to continue her life as normal. Raising her hatchlings and watching them go on to start their own families. But as time went on, Lilacia began to feel that distant burning again. More strongly, too. She had hoped a family and motherhood might soothe the feeling, but it burned as terribly as ever. She became irritable. She did not wish to see her growing children. Some days, she would pause suddenly and stare at the sky in aggitation. She is Gen 1, while her offspring are Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4, etc. This is b/c Lilacia herself is Gen 1 and many offspring Pure Gen 2. It makes it easier to track. [*] They may have any primary & secondary colour & genes. [*] Their tertiary gene [b]must[/b] be a shade of black (blackberry thru gloom,) or a very dark colour (sanguine, umber, abyss, hunter, wine.) You may present a case if the colour looks dark with your dragon's genes. [*] A dragon whose tertiary gene is basic is consider "unawakened." They can still pass the curse. [*] A dragon who tertiary gene is not basic (and becomes visible,) is "awakened." They can also pass the curse. [/LIST] [columns] [b][center]Lore Effect of the Cruse[/b][/center] -------------- The cursed gene makes Lilacia's descendants very sensitive to the anger and hatred of others. They can also feel that emotion radiating from the sky when the Star Kingdom floats overhead. They feel a need to reach the Kingdom and break the Queen's Curse. [b]4.19 : [/b]Found an Arcane Egg. Hatched Dirlion (M Fae.) [b]4.20 thry 4.24:[/b] Nothing significant. Just some food and battles. [b]4.25:[/b] Battle Item. Unlocked Lilacia (F Nocturne LVL 1). [b]4.26:[/b] Another Battle Item! Unlocked Celsius (F Spiral LVL 1). [b]4.27:[/b] Found Apparel. None of the dragons were breeding ready, but I did have two nests unhatched. Started incubating the nest for Orpheus & Contrast (2 Eggs). [b]4.28:[/b] Found a Water Egg. Hatched Anamone (M Fae). [b]5.01:[/b] Found Apparel. Again, no one is ready to breed. Decided to hatch the second nest that has been sitting around. So today, I was ready to hatch the two nests. [b]Orpheus x Contrast:[/b] 2 Eggs. One Survivor. Welcome Boshizora, the M Fae. [b]Hoshiko x Seizah [/b] 3 Eggs. Two Survivors. Welcome Sei and Shuku, the F & M Snappers.
