Not knowing where you come from can be difficult. It's the feeling of walking through a crowded room but not knowing a single face. Or the feeling of being in a different country, where you can't even speak the language. Everyone has ancestors, except you. And when others speak about their families, you can't help the tinge of jealousy that reaches your heart. Why can't you have that?
Well, maybe you can.
Aspen and Bramble were taken from their nests as just eggs. They never knew their mother's warm embrace, or the sound of their father's voice. They never met the clan that was supposed to be their home, and they have no clue where to begin looking for it. Thankfully though, they found each other. Two lost souls, wandering the Earth alone, finally combined into one.
The decision to have a large family was in easy one for both of them. They both yearned to stretch their lineage across many generations, and to fill their small home with large amounts of love. Thus they began on a journey. A journey to 100 generations.

Aspen was raised in the northern most tip of Dragonhome. Her adopted parents found her egg in the nest of a Peacevine Aardvark, who had stepped out to find her cubs some food. Aspen grew up always feeling like the odd one out, and always wondered how she ended up in that nest in the first place. She spent most of her hatchlinghood alone, flying over the rocky, barren expanse and daydreaming. She dreamed of what her life could have been like, and who she could have been. For many years she felt depressed and lost in this world, as just an outcast and a could have been. The sadness consumed her, and everyone could see it. Right when it was at its worst, an one of the clan elders came to her and changed her life. "If you want to be something, why don't you just go be it." Those words have motivated Aspen from that day forward. She now spends her days much less alone and much more happy, as the educator to young hatchlings in the Wayfinder tribe. Every day is filled with the love of her newly forming family, and the joy she receives from all the hatchlings in her life.

Bramble was found as a newborn hatchling near the Twisting Crescendo. No one has a clue how he got into such a dangerous part of the plateau, and his parents were never found. He grew up with the dragons that found him, unaware of his mysterious past for many years. As a hatchling, Bramble never did anything by himself. Instead he was always hanging behind one of the older dragons and trying to help them with whatever they were doing. However, once he was older, and his adopted parents told him the truth, something changed in him. There was a new found urge in him. An urge to find something. He wasn't quite sure what he was looking for, but that urge did lead him to find his mate, Aspen. Bramble now spends his days traveling with the Wayfinder tribe and acting as scout. While he's comfortable on his own, he rarely his. With such a big family, there's no need to be alone.

Welcome! My name is Cheshly and I like to do silly things that are going to take forever and a day to complete! I have just finished giving lore, genes, and apparel to two lovely gen ones, who will be the founders of my 100 generations challenge. I will be putting them on a nest right away, getting an heir to their throne, and then repeating the process 99 more times. Yes, I did say 99. This is obviously going to take awhile, and I'm going to get many interesting dragons along the way. There's really no rules or restrictions, just that I want to have fun and these two dragons want a large family. If you would like to come along for the ride, just ask to be on the pinglist and I'll update you when a new generation hatches. Siblings to the heir will be put up for adoption here, and once the heir finishes breeding (assuming I don't want to keep them) they will also be up for grabs. I hope you enjoy this really, really, really, really, really long process.
