I started in the Waterway, because I also want a dang Firefly gene. About five minutes and no other notable loot (seriously, the smallest handful of foods and a couple materials) later: [item=rat king] Maybe the time I spent vaulting everything was a worthy sacrifice? Maybe Azimyth has smiled upon me? WHO KNOWS.

After a bunch of grinding to no effect and also a brief FR hiatus, I am back. Went back into the Waterway to take advantage of the XP boost with a team of three Sedona-build fighters I'm leveling who happened to be at level 16, and about twenty minutes later: [item=ghostly rat lord] Hail Azimyth, deity of Luck. (You know what I don't have yet? [i]Enough fanned cockroaches for a Firefly gene.[/i] I've still got the second half of sixteenth level for that team to get through in the Waterway, but I have gotten both venue boss familiars and...sixteen fanned cockroaches, a two-star food drop.)
