It hasn't been that long since I've joined Flight Rising, but I've been very fortunate during the time I've spent here so far and the success I've had has only fueled my addiction! The other thing that's fueled my addiction has been gifting and trading and meeting YOU GUYS! In the spirit of meeting new people and giving you guys a fun new way to win awesome things, I've decided to host this raffle :3
This raffle will give away MILLIONS in prizes! I love fulfilling wishlists and helping people get things that are a bit tricky to get on their own, so my goal is to make the prize packs as exciting as possible. Want to know something even more awesome? Making sure you, the players, have fun is such an important thing to me that I've pledged to make sure more than 50% of the players who participate will win a prize. Why? Because raffles are so much more fun when you win something!
I want this raffle to be one that leaves you guys with the desire and motivation to keep coming back and keep trying - so please, help me make this raffle a success!

Q: How do I buy tickets?
A: PM me, shadesofchaos, with your payment, how many tickets you're buying and (if you're trading in any items for tickets) a breakdown of how many tickets each item you're trading in is worth - it's that easy! As soon as I receive payment for tickets, I add the player's name and ticket numbers to my ticket spreadsheet. There's no need to post here in the thread before PMing me, but bumps are always welcome!
Q: Is there any way to participate if we're low on treasure / gems?
A: YES! There's also a growing list of other ways to pay! Shadow and Wind festival currencies (shimmering pinecones and messengers scrolls, respectively) can be traded in for tickets due to their festivals falling during this raffle. We also accept food / items and even leveled dragons for ticket payments! You can get more information in the 'tickets' section of the thread below.
Q: Do you really have all these items in your hoard / vault?
A: If there are any concerns about my ability to come through with the prizes due to my join date, please feel free to PM me for proof that I most certainly can and will deliver. While my in-game profit endeavors have been hugely successful so far, the vast majority of my treasury comes from my decision to regularly spend real life money on gems. It's a decision I haven't regretted once yet!
So to answer the question: Some of the cheaper items might not be bought until closer to the drawing date to avoid the hoard clutter, but I don't list 'big ticket' items until I have the item, or more than the needed amount of treasure / gems to purchase it, in my vault. As mentioned, I'm happy to send screenshots of my vault to prove my ability to follow through with this raffle :3
Q: I'd like to donate! What are you accepting? Do I get anything in return?
A: That's great, thank you so much for wanting to help! Donations of treasure, gems or items are highly encouraged and, as a thank you from me, donors will receive tickets equal to the lowest AH or MP price of the item, divided by two. For example, if someone donated a familiar that's worth 20k in the MP and 60k on the AH, the tickets would be valued at 20k (because that's the lowest of the two prices) divided by two - so 10k. They would receive twenty tickets (500 treasure each) for donating the familiar!
Please note that partial stacks of food or other items are not currently being accepted as donations unless it's somewhat valuable swipps item. Decisions will be made on a case by case basis for any partial stacks, so please PM me first before sending any partial stacks - thanks!
Q: I sent you my payment hours ago and haven't received a response yet.
My tickets haven't been recorded on the spreadsheet either...where's my money gone?!
A: Easy there! Please remember that I have a real life outside of Flight Rising and will be offline for periods of time. Lol okay, so I don't have a real life outside of FR, but I do need to eat and sleep and shower and spend time with my family sometimes, so please don't panic if I haven't responded with confirmation of your payment unless it's been more than 24 hours.
If, after 24 hours, you still haven't received a confirmation reply from me then by all means, send me another PM to inquire about the delay! Just remember that most likely there's a good reason I haven't responded yet, so please be polite and respectful in your PM <3
Entering the raffle does not guarantee you will win a prize.
There is no limit to how many tickets one person may buy!
The prize list is not set and items will continue to be added throughout the duration of the raffle!
Prizes
Some prizes have pre-assigned "winning" ticket numbers. Mostly these are things like stacks of food or swipp and baldwins items, but a few of the pre-assigned numbers are things like eggs or expensive familiars!
Other prizes are set aside to be chosen by the winners who are picked in a random.org drawing. These prizes are chosen in the order that the winner's name is chosen...for example, the first person with a winning ticket gets to pick from all the items in this section, and the second person gets to pick from the remaining prizes, etc.
A person can win items from both categories if they have one (or more) winning pre-assigned ticket number(s) and one (again, or more) of their numbers gets chosen by random.org!
-
Ticket numbers are assigned as they are bought. For example, if you buy ten tickets now and ten tickets tomorrow, you might have numbers 1 - 10 and 115 - 125, depending on how many people have bought tickets in the meantime.
The raffle will end on April 30th at 23:59 server time. Prizes will then be handed out over the course of the next few days.
Winners that get to choose their prize will have 24 hours to do so. At that time and at my own discretion, the prize is eligible to be re-rolled and a new winner chosen.
Each participant may only win one prize.

Please PM me with your payment, the number of tickets you're purchasing, and any free tickets you're eligible to claim and your tickets will be added to the spreadsheet when I'm online!
Please break down the tickets I owe you to make my life easier? :3
For example, if you're purchasing 10 tickets with treasure and you're trading in 57 tickets worth of apparel and 10 small stacks of swipps items, break down how much each item of apparel and each stack of swipp items is worth in tickets. Remember: 1:1 with the lowest gem value listed on the AH! I know it can be more difficult with swipps items, especially if you have a random number of them, so just do you best to come up with a fair price based on the current AH prices. If you really can't figure it out, though, I can do swipp items myself. With over 10k tickets sold so far, it really makes my life so much easier - thank you guys!!

Be specific! Ideally, frame each prize pack suggestion the way I display the prize packs: in quotes and use the item= tag to specify the items, if possible. Each prize pack you suggest is worth 2 tickets (but please don't post 100 prize pack "ideas" that consist of a few cheap familiars or six suggestions with a different sylvan color set in each =P be a little bit more creative). Try to limit the number of prize packs valued over 100k. I'd like to see prize packs valued at 100k or under! When valuing an item that can be found in the MP or can be brewed, I would value the items at how much it'll cost me to buy them from the MP or to brew them in Baldwins.
