This is why I need separate information about which Milestone [u]and[/u] Mammoth prize pools you want your tickets to go toward, and why you can't just pick out of a singular set of pools. [b]Q: So your raffle just ended...but you said another one started? I don't understand.[/b] A: The Neverending Raffle is 2-for-1. There are grab bags if you want instant gratification. Then, there are milestone "raffles," which end upon (a) the completion of the current milestone goal or (b) when the time scheduled to hopefully complete that goal by runs out (always between 6 months to a year maximum). Well let's say that when you do get more tickets, you get 25 more. [b]Q: What are you doing with all the money/items that you get in exchange for tickets in this raffle?[/b] A: Any profit gained from this raffle goes towards either completing milestone goals or for prizes in this raffle. Technically it's a for-profit raffle, but the profit is [i]very[/i] slow to accumulate, and so far (and what I suspect will continue to be the case) I've, as a whole, made [i]significantly[/i] less than I've spent/donated towards this raffle. [b]Q: How harsh is the "no refunds/returns" rule? I think I may have an exceptional circumstance.[/b] A: It's a hard line within reason. If, for example, you send me a PM and the PM says that you're interested in purchasing a certain number tickets but you send me more treasure/gems than that amount is worth, I will send you back your change, unless specified otherwise. If you accidentally send me the incorrect item when sending donations and immediately let me know "whoops, didn't mean to send ___ - could you please return it?" I absolutely will. I try to avoid pinging people any more frequently than these biweekly updates unless the information is time-sensitive and/or otherwise important, however, just because I know how obnoxious unnecessarily frequent pings can get. [b]Q: May I adjust my pooled tickets?[/b] A: Of course :3 Just let me know how you'd like things rearranged either via ping or PM and I'll get right on that! [b]Q: Can I give away some/all of my tickets to a friend?[/b] A: If you'd like to give away some or all of your tickets to a friend, I would be happy to transfer your tickets over. All I would need is a username, and once I've transferred the tickets, I will ping your friend to let them know who the generous friend is and thus why they're receiving these tickets. [i]Please also note that this action is [u]irreversible[/u][/i]. [b]Q: I want to be removed from the Neverending Raffle. What does this mean?[/b] A: To be removed as a whole would put you on the "removed" list which would be cross-referenced every time I ping people to make sure you weren't somehow accidentally added. All of your tickets would be wiped, and your username will be removed from the pooling and all tickets spreadsheets. [i]This action would be [u]irreversible[/u][/i], however, so if you every decided to come back (which you'd be welcome to), you'd have to start from scratch. On the other hand, staying a part of the raffle doesn't require you to take part as you wait on mammoth prizes - you can just keep your tickets and not take part, which will stop any milestone pings such as the most recent one. If you went this route, you will only be pinged twice a year at maximum (in May and November) as a friendly reminder that the raffle is still ongoing, and upon the end of the raffle to remind you to pool your mammoth tickets for the big, mammoth prizes. [b]Q: I left the Neverending Raffle and I'm returning now. My tickets are still listed in the History of Tickets spreadsheet, so can I get my old tickets back?[/b] A: I'm sorry, no. This raffle already requires a lot of time and energy, and going back to count up and/or verify all of your prior tickets is a lot of effort that I simply don't have the time to put in. If you're thinking of leaving, but aren't sure if you will want to come back or not later, then I highly suggest you just leave your tickets be. The [i]only[/i] downside to doing so is that you will receive a mere 2 pings yearly to remind you that the raffle still exists (unless you add yourself to other pinglists, but that's opt-in only) and you'll be pinged a little more when this raffle comes to a close. [u]You are not expected to be an active part of this raffle to hold tickets you've earned/purchased in the past[/u], and unless you tell me otherwise (or I make an update pinging you and anyone else it applies to stating otherwise), your tickets will not be touched, even if years go by.
