[center][b][u]HOW TO ADOPT A DRAGON[/u][/b][/center]
[b]1. I am subscribed to the form, so all you need to do is reply to the forum with the name of the dragon you are interested in, as listed in the adoption section. If I forgot a name, you must otherwise provide the dragon's ID number, or preferably, the code for the dragon.
[u]If the dragon belongs to a donor, you must additionally ping them[/u] with the code or name of the dragon you want to adopt.

[b]2.Before adoption, [u]I do require that you name the dragon[/u]. The name provided in the adoption description is a 'placeholder' name (in general), and the dragon will be left unnamed for you to decide on your own :)[/b]
[center][b]REQUIREMENTS OF POTENTIAL ADOPTEES[/b][/center]
[b]1. Any dragon being adopted from this charity [u]is not to be exalted unless the option is expressed by a donor[/u]. Brin, the runner of the homestead, does background checks for every applicant and looks at the degree of exalting activity occurring in a lair. If something strikes her as suspicious (i.e., superior or astral exalt achievment), it is unlikely the dragon will be given to the applicant without due cause. This is [i]not[/i] a fodder house!!!
2. You must be willing to house these dragons on a permanent, or at least a long-term basis. Selling the dragon is discouraged, and I prefer that they remain in the lair that adopts them. However, nothing is wrong with passing them on to a new player or trading with another member (who won't exalt) if an adoptee gets tired of them or needs more space.[/b]

[b]Recent Annoucment: If you, as a donor, have exalted a hatchling that was placed on my adoptions list, please let me know! As they are your own dragons, no penalty of course is given, but I do need to keep the current information accurate!
Another newer rule concerns that you cannot advertise dragons here that you are attempting to sell at the same time. If you choose to sell a dragon that is currently up for adoption, you must send me a note asking me to take the dragon down here![/b]

[b]As an adoption center with plentiful room, I always appreciate getting dragon donations from people who don't want to exalt but want to see their own hatchlings or dragons rehoused and loved.
Your charity is appreciated, and sometimes I might give out small favors/presents to members who donate regularly, especially if they are in need of help. This does not, however, guarantee that I will give every donor a gift in return, but I will still be quite grateful ^^.
Donations are run quite simply. All you have to do is reply to this forum with the code(s) of the dragon you want to donate (clickable image that leads to the dragon you are giving away), and I will feature said dragon in my adoption section. You will be notified via a ping by both me and an interested person requesting the dragon for adoption, after which you can follow through with a crossroads to the adoptee.[/b]
[b]Lastly, let it be of note that [u]I cannot temporarily hold your adoptable dragons in my lair[/u] . I am always crammed for lair space, and have nearly filled out the full 10 pages of my lair![/b]

[b]1. While my inn is open to [i]all [/i]lairs and dragonkind of Flight Rising, I do have a strong preference to house my littles and outlaws with new lairs.
Specifically, [u] priority will always be given to new players who have just started out within the month the dragons are being given away. [/u] That means that I may defer a dragon to a new player even if an older member asked for the dragon first within a narrow timeframe!
Priority will also go to pinglist members who missed out in a previous adoption, but they will also follow a hierarchy of falling behind new players in terms of first picks.[/b]
[b]During Welcome week this forum will additionally be (largely) open only to new players registering within that week. If you have a dragon you really want and are not brand new, it is advised to ask[i] before or after[/i] welcome weeks.[/b]

You know, I think I might just have to adopt Sasha :D. I rarely take in non-g1's, but her colors are simply stunning! My lair is full for the moment, but if you think you could hold her for a few days that would be great!

This week is welcome week, however, so the current dragons will be advertised to new players for the next few days only, but if there are no takers you are welcome to whoever is left :3
