If you've joined within the last month, you can get free dragons here.
Couple of rules:
1. You can request one dragon, if no one else has beaten you to asking for it, then you'll probably get it (Read on for the reason I say probably).
2. You can get one dragon per week. (Unless it's a pairing that I am offering)
3. Don't pester others if they got a dragon you wanted.
4. If you're a player who has been here for more than a month, don't send a newbie to get a dragon for free for you. (Yes, it has happened in previous threads I've run, seriously it feels scummy to see people use new players).
5. I expect the dragon to get named, in fact as you'll see you won't receive the dragon unless I know you'll name it.

Not a rule, but, I know that once you get a dragon, it is yours, that is part of the site rules. That being said, if your intention is to exalt it right away, as in within the first two weeks, please just send it back there are other people who would love the dragon. It breaks my heart when I give a dragon to a new player only to see it exalted within the first day because they ran out of room. If you send it back, I'll pick it up as soon as I see the crossroads.

If you exalt a dragon or give it to an older player right away, you won't be welcomed back to get any more and I will remember.

Now, fact is I can't be on at every second of every day, this means someone in the thread might ask for the same dragon as you. First timers to the thread get priority, and then whoever posted first.

Now onto how to get a dragon:
Each dragon will have a number, you simply post the number and state what you'll name that dragon, a lot of people don't like it when dragons go unnamed. If you can't think of a name just write "I don't know" and your dragon will get a randomly generated name.
Your first dragon will come with a few items.

What do I mean by within a month? If you join on May 1st, the last day I'll give you a dragon is June 1st.

I think that about covers it, second post will be available dragons.

Free Lore Dragon

A free lore dragon is special, lore is written for them in their bio. I am picky where a lore dragon goes and will rarely add one. Lore dragons are named already so the rules on getting a lore dragon are different.

The lore dragon is written as part of The Tavern. This means to fit with the lore they have a few levels.

I want the reason you feel the lore dragon will fit with your lair. Essentially if you have a lore idea for your lair or are looking into creating lore and think this dragon can help. "Can I have [Dragon]" isn't enough to convince me, I'll be looking at how much effort is put in. Why? I don't want this dragon to be exalted instantly just because it has a few levels on it.

Most of all, I want it that you're getting this dragon for yourself, not for someone else.

Please, be respectful of my requests, don't take advantage. You wouldn't want someone to take advantage of something you did.

If there are no dragons available at a certain time or none you like you can be added to the:

Pinglist (You can also request certain breeds/Genders)
If you don't find a dragon by the time your month is up but you're on the pinglist don't worry, you'll still be allowed to get one free dragon when one interests you.

You will automatically be removed from the list after you claim a dragon.
