It's a sunny day when you find it. A boat just waiting, sitting on the Sornieth coast. You decide to explore, and as you clamber onboard, you see a map lying on the deck. There's no one around, and it looks abandoned, so you pick it up and realise it's a treasure map. A little note on the back says 'The island in the distance is filled with buried treasure. Familiars, apparel, chests... And eggs.'
You squint at the horizon. There's something there... Land. Excitement fills you, but then you stop. The journey would be costly, especially the provisions. And you'd need a crew. An idea pops into your head. You could gather a crew, who could all help to put together enough money, if you promised them a share of the treasure. The map is divided into 30 sections... One section each for 30 dragons. You smile, and the land in the distance feels just a little closer.
So, you've been asked to join the crew? Well, here's what you need to know!
• Entry costs 10 gems, which goes towards funding the event.
• To accept the offer, post here stating which square you would like to claim, which of your dragons you will be role-playing as, and pinging a few friends if you'd like a few friendly faces among the treasure hunters. Then PM or CR the payment to me, and you'll be put on the list!
• Each square has a gift hidden in it. One square has a nature egg, the most valuable prize on the island. Most gifts are worth 10g, though a few are just under. However, your 10g will also enter you into a raffle!
• Each participant will be entered into a role-playing raffle! You will be asked to roleplay, along with the rest of the crew, the journey to and around the island. The user who makes the most roleplay posts will win an extra prize, and for everyone else, each role play post will count as a ticket, and another winner will be randomly drawn from those. You may not post twice in a row though!
• To roleplay, choose one of your dragons to roleplay as. I'll be role-playing too, just to help guide the flow, but obviously I won't receive any gifts or be entered into the raffles!
So, I guess that's it. You ready to sail? The boat leaves once all thirty crew members are gathered. There's just one last step till you can be on your way. Choose a square, and choose wisely! You might just pick the lucky one ;)
