As you enter the Greenskeeper Gathering, you see the different areas involved in the cleanup effort. You make mental note where to take any junk you find in the mess and you keep glancing at the goat. Something's a little odd about it. You see a black and white guardian off to the side with several piles of flowers. He looks at one of the piles and kinda zones out.
A pearlcatcher comes up to him with their arms full of flowers and he shakes himself, accepts the flowers and asks, "Which flight?" "Ice!" The guardian nods and places the flowers delicately in one of the piles. He looks up at you and
smiles in welcome.
"Hello there. My name is angst. We are having a friendly competition to see which flight can gather the most flowers. I am in the coli a lot, an awful lot, and I get anxious. Looking at beauty helps to calm me. So, my clan offered to donate prizes to try and get as many flowers at possible. Got to admit, most of the prizes are familiars, cuz that's our love language. but there are few other prizes, if fams aren't your thing. What do ya say? Wanna join in?

5 point flowers wrote:
Alstroemeria
Plant
Cultivated for decoration and dessert.
25
3
Bee Orchid
Plant
The early bee gets the flower. Unless that flower wants to confuse all the bees and everything around it. Jerk move, flower.
30
3
Blue Rose
Plant
White roses can take on many colors by tinting their water. Plant connoisseurs have also tried to encourage them to take on other flavors as well. This one tastes faintly of blueberries.
17
2
Bluelipped Thresh
Plant
This aquatic plant grows on the edges of caves and waterway entrances. It requires the low light and high mineral content such environments provide.
30
3
Cliff Lion
Plant
Saying you're hunting Cliff Lions sounds much more exciting than it really is.
20
2
Dayglo Thresh
Plant
A mild pastel under normal lighting conditions, this plant flares to a brilliant glow when magics are worked in its vicinity.
29
3
Delta Orchid
Plant
These flowers are in a constant state of change. (Special thanks Pheonyx.)
25
2
Dusk Aconite
Plant
An unremarkable plant by day. These pale flowers blossom under the light of the full moon and reflect its glow, turning the delta into a starlit sandscape.
24
2
Dusty Marigold
Plant
Where this plant lacks in vibrancy it makes up for in deliciousness.
29
3
Feverfew
Plant
A tasty treat that may also prevent headaches.
27
3
Fragrant Orchid
Plant
The most pungent blossom of the Sandswept Delta unfortunately smells of rotting meat. (Special thanks HailSmoothie.)
25
2
Frosted Violets
Plant
Served best when chilled. No one likes a warm violet salad!
17
2
Heart Rose
Plant
Consuming or gifting these flowers is good for one's heart.
25
3
Indigo Mimosa
Plant
A sour bloom that leaves a dragon with a blue tongue.
30
3
Lace Lantana
Plant
While the leaves of this flower are best avoided, the fruit it produces is quite tasty.
30
3
Light's Breath
Plant
While neither tasty nor filling, this plant is said to improve one's mood. That's sadly not true.
20
2
Manaweed
Plant
While Manaweed supposedly gives Satin Mice their peculiar intellect, it doesn't make dragons any smarter.
20
2
Marigold
Plant
Marigolds are popular in decorative food dishes, their bright florets adding an interesting pop of color.
29
3
Marsh Choker
Plant
This weed is named for the choking pollen it sheds.
20
2
Myosotis
Plant
A beautiful flower with a forgettable name.
25
3
Pale Pink Rose
Plant
A romantic bouquet and dinner for dragons.
17
2
Patio Rose
Plant
These small roses are a favored gift to the smaller dragon species.
25
3
Royal Lantana
Plant
A meal fit for nobility!
30
3
Sanddrift Aconite
Plant
Vibrant, plentiful, and spicy. A staple in delta cuisine.
24
2
Satin Violets
Plant
The petals of this flower are super soft!
17
2
Umbra Parthenium
Plant
A night-blooming plant, Umbra Parthenium is irresistible to herbivorous dragons.
While many types of thistle change color seasonally, the Always-Autumn blooms with the sunset-dappled colors of fall and stays that way all year.
53
5
Anubias Nana
Plant
This aquatic plant is hardy enough to grow in the mineral-overloaded waters where the lava flow enters the lake.
37
4
Bicolor Petunia
Plant
Lovely when in a vase or in a tummy.
43
5
Black Tulip
Plant
The comfort food of heart-broken veggie-dragons.
50
5
Black-lipped Wolfsbane
Plant
While dangerous for wolves - and most mammals - to consume, Wolfsbane has no effect on dragons.
38
4
Bloody Snapdragon
Plant
This hardy plant provides herbivorous dragons with a valuable source of food during long winter months, but tastes awful.
40
4
Blue Parrot Tulip
Plant
Eating these will turn your tongue blue.
50
5
Carnaval Tulip
Plant
Plant eaters consider bouquets of Carnaval Tulips to be 'edible arrangements'.
50
5
Cliffside Milkweed
Plant
This species of flower only grows from the cracks of mesa walls.
46
4
Dandelion Puffs
Plant
They're baby dandelions.
42
4
Day Lilies
Plant
On sunny days, the Day Lily grows warm and pulses with light.
45
4
Fiddle Puff
Plant
Make a wish on a fiddler puff for legs so fuzzy and fine.
42
4
Fire Flower
Plant
Consuming this flower gives dragons of the fire flight the sudden urge to channel their magic into projectile spheres of flame.
42
4
Flowering Cactus
Plant
It's acknowledged that the color of the petals should have no effect on their taste, but hatchlings universally agree that's untrue!
43
5
Fogflower
Plant
A prickly, thorny, imposing flower. Its ripened heart is delicious, if you find it worth the work.
53
5
Golden Milkweed
Plant
When not used as a snack, this milkweed can also be ground up for pigment. Art you can eat!
46
4
Greenpod Bloom
Plant
Harvested as a hard-shelled pod, these plants appear to bloom when slow-cooked over a fire.
42
4
Jasmine
Plant
A quaint, pretty white flower with dainty petals. Jasmine is seen more often floating on the wind than growing from the ground.
50
5
Juneflower
Plant
A popular flower of two tones. Bushels of Juneflower are used in garlands and necklaces for summer solstice celebrations.
50
5
Jungle Lilies
Plant
Many legendary creatures are said to covet this particular lily.
45
4
Madame Snapdragon
Plant
A common myth about this flower is that it sings at midnight and those who consume it are said to be bestowed the gift of a beautiful voice. Most of the time it simply results in terrible indigestion.
40
4
Moor Thistle
Plant
Millions of moor thistle cover the lowland valleys of the Tangled Wood. Coupled with the indigenous brambles, they provide excellent protection for dragon caves.
53
5
Orchid Cactus
Plant
Soft and prickly all at once! It's a feast for the senses!
43
5
Pinwheel Paddies
Plant
The breeziest and brightest of all lilies, Pinwheel Paddies can spin for hours on end.
45
4
Red Emperor Tulip
Plant
Many herbivorous dragons will plant beds of tulips for a cheerful display of color around their lairs and a tasty treat in their bellies.
50
5
Redblood Sapper
Plant
A virulent bloom, prized for the deep red dye it can produce; abhorred for its tendency to strangle other plants and take over a field.
42
4
Siltvine
Plant
The ground stems of the siltvine can be used as the last important reagent to activate a bubbling poison, or sprinkled on foods to bring out their flavor. Risk or reward?
37
4
Smolderpetal
Plant
Easier to gather than the speckled fire lily, this hardy flower tastes absolutely divine after a good roast.
37
4
Speckled Fire Lily
Plant
It can be difficult to harvest fire lilies, which often grow very close to active magma vents. Scoring a basketful is quite a treat.
37

Plant
Creates a sweet, grassy note when boiled down and added to a dish.
42
5
Thistle
Plant
You're seriously thinking of eating that? It's thistle!
53

62
6
Chickweed
Plant
This weed is used in herbal remedies to soothe itchy scales.
60
6
Daffodil
Plant
Boil it, mash it, maybe stick it in a stew. (Special thanks to Falwater.)
65
7
Football Mums
Plant
This bright flower is the cause of much regional confusion. (Special thanks to Windows8.)
90
9
Lume Daffodil
Plant
Blooms under moonlight, with a cool, refreshing taste. Often consumed as after-dinner mints. (Special thanks to alcion.)
65
7
Maidens Blush
Plant
It remains unknown if the origin of the name comes from the color of the flowers, or the slight toxicity that can raise a dragon's temperature.
60
6
Peace Lily
Plant
The petals of these flowers are the favored snack of Peace Doves; make sure you stow them safely if you want any for yourself!
62
6
Pompom Mums
Plant
This flower's cheerful, crinkly petals shake in the faintest breeze, catching the attention of every bee passing by. (Special thanks to yoshino.)
90
9
Pretty Pink Mums
Plant
A favorite of courting tundras, both a romantic gesture and a sweet snack. (Special thanks to Adventure.)
90
9
Spathiphyllum
Plant
If not consumed, these flowers make excellent lair decorations. Spathiphyllum thrive in areas with little or no natural light.
62
6
Starfall Blossom
Plant
Starfall Blossoms glow softly at night... and sometimes explode for no apparent reason. Botany can be a dangerous hobby where they grow. (Special thanks to Mirrorstone.)
65
7
Stellaria Media
Plant
A delicious addition to any salad.
60
6
Wilting Rose
Plant
This rose did not take the trip in the Journeyman Satchel well. (Special thanks orchidemily)
