So, this is a throw RP. No forms to fill out, just jump in!

1. Please roleplay in full sentences, with no 'ur, lol, etc.'
2. If you're roleplay directly to one person, please Ping them to keep your posts organised.
3. Roleplaying as dragons only please.
4. If you're talking out of character (ooc) Please use double brackets ((-))
5. Absolutely No godmodding and no killing other's characters without permisson
6. If a character has died don't go 'bringing them back to life' I see it in a lot of roleplays and it frustrates me.
7. Your dragons can have powers, but try to keep them related to your flight.
8. No-one knows how this roleplay will work out, I have a very faint plot in my head, but apart from that, we improvise.

WARNING: The roleplay may contain descriptive gore and death.

I'll start:

Orca pulled his tattered wizard's hat down over his blind eyes, he leapt and clambered up the splintery, scorched tree in front of him, draping his long body around the thickest branch. All flights had gone to war in the plague lands, leaving it scorched and terrorized. Even the deities fought alongside their flight members, the Tidelord flooding the land, and the Earthshaker had left the land scarred with dark ravines. Orca had almost drifted off to sleep, the one moment of peace he'd had that day, when a loud whistling pierced his eardrums. He sat up just as a great force slammed into the tree, knocking it to the ground and leaving Orca trapped under heavy branches and rocks.
"Hello?" The blind dragon wailed, clutching his hat to his head to hide his eyes. "Who's there?" He tried to sound threatening, but his roar cracked into a wail as splinters from the tree bark found their way under his scales.

Eos kept silent for a moment. The roars made him uneasy, yes, but the poor soul's situation made him more concerned. Guilt shot through him as he realised what he had done. He had only been lumbering through the mess of burnt trees, looking for some remnant of life in the wasteland. Due to his size and the weakness of the trees around him, he had been knocking over trees for miles--that is until he accidentally crushed a sleeping dragon with one of them.

"Oh no--" Eos hurriedly hopped to the other side, where he saw the spiral trapped under the branches. "I'm so sorry! Here, I'm going to get you out, don't worry!" He slid his horn between the dragon's scales and the wood, gently prying it off him so he could wiggle his way out. "Are you okay? Can you get out?"

@Horace

Orca let out an unsteady breath and slithered from beneath the tree. He could sense the size of the dragon, he was huge compared to Orca's lithe, slim body.
"I'm fine," He said, adjusting his had and checking his cape for tears. He couldn't tell what Flight this dragon was, which was unusual for him, he sighed and coiled himself up.
"Excuse me asking, but what flight are you fighting for?" He asked politely, stretching his wings.

@Islebrd

"Alright, good, I'm glad you're okay." Eos let out a sigh as he let the tree fall, shaking his head to ease tension off his horn. "What flight?" he repeated. "Wind, actually. What about you?"

Eos surveyed the dragon, who had coiled himself up like a rope. He worried, however, seeing the splinters still remaining under his scales. The ridgeback had actually been separated from his flight some time ago, left to wander the wasteland alone until he could find a familiar face again. While this dragon was far from familiar, it gave him some solace that life still existed.

@Horace

Orca twitched, suddenly uneasy.
"I'm a wind dragon," He muttered. "But i'm loyal to Plague."
The spiral flicked his pointed tail. "So... Why aren't you fighting?" He asked. "Our deities have commanded us to kill on sight."
He lifted his head in the ridgeback's direction, even though he couldn't see the dragon who'd saved him, he had an idea of where he was.
"Why didn't you kill me...?"

@Islebrd

"No kidding," he answered, a slight chuckle in his voice. "I'm actually a water dragon. Wind took me in when I left my homeland in search of something else."

Eos had to take a moment before answering his second questions. Yes, the gods had said things, and said things that Eos himself couldn't bring himself to agree with. He knew in his better judgement that one should obey higher powers, but he firmly disagreed with his better judgement.
"Why didn't I kill you?" he asked, wanting to hear it a second time so he could be sure. "Because...I didn't want to. Plain and simple. I don't believe in taking something that precious."

"It takes strength to disagree with the gods." Orca breathed, impressed by the ridgeback's confidence.
Orca paused to find his words, it had been a long while since he'd had a conversation like this with a dragon. All anyone ever talked about was murder and dominance. After a long while, he spoke.
"I don't understand." He began. "We were given these powers, each different and unique to each flight, their only purpose to harm. It's as if we're destined for war."
He sighed. He didn't mind fighting for his flight, he was a good fighter, and he hardly ever got injured in combat, but the dead dragons haunting his dreams, and the blood-curdling wails echoing deep inside his head had to stop. He couldn't take it anymore.

((It's getting pretty late where I am, so sorry If I don't reply for a while.))

@IsleBrd ((no worries! I'm getting ready for a flight, so I'm not gonna be on either))

"Nor do I," Eos murmured, glancing down at his feet. "But that is why I do not kill. Even if we were bestowed these gifts to kill, they can do just as much to heal. They can be used for good aswell. I have witnessed incredible things; dragons that can bring light in the dark, purify water when it's soiled, make plant life grow in the worst dirt." He stops before he can say more about life before the fall.

"I don't believe that our destiny lies in destruction and war. Yes, we struggle now, but there is always something good. Something to celebrate, no matter how vast the differences between dragons. We have merely just forgoten what it means to love."
