Aja descended from a high tree-top in the Light domain of which she had just finished hanging a banner on. The banner read "Clans Meet And Greet!" in a sloppy combination of red and orange colored paint. In hopes to meet new clans and possibly befriend some of them, her clan had decided to host a gathering in a clearing of a not-so-dense woods. Everything was going wonderfully, the weather was perfect, they had gathered enough food of all kinds to share with other clans, and they had gotten some of their best flyers to deliver invitations to the gathering all across Sornieth. Everything was going to go wonderfully, well, implying people would actually attend the event. She grinned looking up at her masterpiece when a smaller coatl interrupted her peace.
"As if you could do any better, Pipsqueak." Aja responded with little emotion in her voice.
"Oh, come on Aja, you know I'm just messing with you!" Caly insisted.
I'm sure you are...
"What's that look for?" Caly questioned. Aja continue to stare blankly at her without replying. "Okay, well... I just wanted to let you know that the gathering is going to start soon! Dragons should be arriving any minute now!"
"W-what!?" Aja must have lost track of time while putting the decorations up. Realizing she let herself appear vulnerable to the one she would least want to appeal that way to, she quickly regained her cool.
"Alright, that's fine. I'm already finished putting up the decorations, anyways." Aja lied. She still had supplies to make party hats, but she supposed that would have to wait until next time.
"Cool!" Caly hummed. "I'll be waiting for guests towards the entrance, meet me there soon!"
"Sure..." Aja muttered. She watched Calypso fly off to the other side of the clearing before looking back at her banner. She was starting to feel nervous, what if the other clans thought they were a wreck? After all, the clan was practically being dictated by that nuisance of a teenage coatl, Caly, and they weren't exactly the most typical bunch of dragons. Actually, many of her more strange clan mates would probably be attending the gathering as well. Aja prayed silently to the Lightweaver for minimal embarrassment to occur tonight. Everything had to go perfectly.
"Hey, Aja!" a voice beckoned. "What are you doing over here, still? Dragons are going to start arriving any second!"
"Dusk! Oh, I was just... making sure all of the decorations were in place!" Aja's eyes nervously darted all over the decor she had placed in the clearing.
"Yeah, they all look fine."
"Alright...well, it's time to come and greet guests. You should come with me now." Dusk spoke, already making her way towards the entrance of the clearing.
Aja sighed. She supposed everything would be fine, after all. Worrying about it wouldn't help anything. Aja did as she was told and began to follow Dusk.
Hi guys! It's me, Lorde.. I thought it would be fun to make a simple "meet and greet" RP to help newer players get acquainted with others. This is just a simple RP and the party will never end so this will probably be prolonged and open at all times to anyone who wants to join! Now, I'm going to write some rules and stuff
- YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE LITTLE ICONS LIKE HOW I DO! don't feel obligated to unless you really want to! I only used them because I've had them sitting around for awhile and was dying to put them into action. I may or may not use them throughout the roleplay. However, a picture of your dragon when you join the RP may be helpful.
- You can come to the gathering with as many dragons as you like, though I recommend a maximum of 3 to keep things from getting to complicated, only you know your roleplaying boundaries!
- Respect other players! This means a lot of different things. Try not to leave anyone out or blatantly ignore them, and I should probably state that this is a PEACEFUL gathering. That means no killing or physical combat.
- Have fun! This RP is made purely to get to know others and have a good time!
Alright, that's all I have to say. So, let the gathering festivities begin!
