---(Crys)---

The Light guardian flicked his tail as new students filed in; each one was called a "Child". His feathery ruff slowly shifted as he sighed. He sat on a rock ledge, overlooking the scene. At the front, there looked to be a mix of elements; plants with rotting leaves and bright green ones, ice pillars, light orbs surrounded by shadow. Lava pools, giant earth pillars like the one he sat on, and electrocuted water puddles were scattered around, and there was a cleared path for the Children to safely enter. The other Guardians were sitting in areas comfortable to them, and Crys was surrounded by light.

The only Guardian who did not have a magic area was the Arcane Guardian. The poor dragon did not have an elemental area to sit in; because the Arcanist was the subject of the God slaying magic, the Arcane Children had to stay in a nuteral area. It was not the Organizations' fault, it was the fault of the demon dragons and their cosmic force.

Crys hated speaking, but he had to be the one to greet the Children, since the other Guardians did not pipe up yet. Surprising. Crys puffed up and lifted his head up high. Welcome, newly arrived demigods, to new life! His voice rasped. Speaking the regular dragon language was hard for a Coatl. He would rather be speaking his language. His silver scales reflected the firelight from the lava, and he cleared his throat to continue. Follow, others will show way. He announced, before walking off his rock. The great doors opened, and the Guardians lead the Children into the great fortress and into the life of a student.

Crys tapped up to another Guardian, the Fire Guardian. You lead now. He whispered, before following the crowd.

Mixed emotions filled the normally upbeat Coatl, as he thought about his....well, dead father. Because the Arcanist is-was obsessed with knowledge, he could speak perfect draconic as well as Coatl. He was glad of it too, so he could easily make friends here!

He waited around until another Coatl on a rock perch welcomed them and the door opened. His heart lept some. Another Coatl! From what Sovari observed, the Coatl that welcomed them did not speak draconic so well. Not surprising.

As they walked in, Sovari spotted a dragon with pink eyes like his. That dragon seemed to be one of the eleven in charge. Excuse me sir, but where are we headed? He asked.

((He is addressing the Arcane Guardian. They're headed to the grand hall.
Also, I know I have two Coatls, but Sovari was the only Arcane one I could find. I prefer to use my own dragons.))

She sent an acknowledging nod and encouraging nod in the direction of the ones who looked over at her. However, when she glanced over at the Guardians she shuffled her crystalline looking wings, itching for flight to sooth the nervousness that came with being out of the sky and surrounded by so many new dragons- a nervousness that eased only slightly at the encouraging look the fiery Skydancer Guardian gave her. Some sort of monster had been through the area, like it had with his own family. He was out when they had been attacked, out hunting, and he returned to find his family slaughtered like animals. He never saw the creature that had done it, but it must have been terrible. In the distance, he saw some odd structure, it looked secure and the architect seemed to have a particular fondness for pillars. He'd head there, perhaps find some shelter or a place to start a new den. He couldn't tell if anyone was there, but it looked old. His stomach growled and he started to feel the cold on his scales. What he wouldn't give for a soak in a lava pool, but he didn't so much like seafood like other Coatls did. A nice deer would suit him just fine. He heard a roar in the distance, but... he cocked his head, that was definitely not coming from the structure. It was behind him. Another roar sounded and his hackles went up, sending a chill down his back. He'd never heard a noise as terrible as that before. He turned back toward the structure and picked up the pace. What if he'd been followed? He didn't want to fly because that gave too much attention to yourself. He needed to keep low and out of the way. He was from the Emberglow Hearth, and he was a long way from home. He had yet to see a single salamander, the thought of them made his mouth water. They were morsels, tidbits, but extremely tasty. His thoughts were again cut short by this roar, and it was much closer. It was moving toward him, and fast. What were his options? Hopefully, it couldn't fly and if need be, he could use his wings for a quick escape. He swallowed hard as his heart began to beat quickly, what if this ended up as a fight? He was not skilled in fighting, sure he could hunt well, but the food can't kill you. He felt his fire warm up and continued moving toward the structure, faster, would he make it in time? Another roar and it was almost behind him. He unfurled his wings and prepared to launch himself into the sky, but too late, he was blindsided by something and knocked into a tree. He gave a cry and immediately righted himself and he saw something lash out at him. He dodged it so it cut the ends of his wings, nothing meaty, and he stared at what he saw. This was no bandit dragon, it wasn't anything like he'd seen before. The tail was bladed and the beast was about his size. It too had wings, but they were not feathered. It had four limbs and was quadrupedal, but he couldn't tell much more. The claws looked long and sharp, teeth jutted from the snout, twisted and yellow, the eyes were dark pits. He wasn't sure what to do. He was bruised by the initial attack, but now they were sizing each other up. The creature, no doubt, had other tricks up it's sleeve, he had to be careful. "Y-y-yo-you don't need to do this" he stammered, but it just lashed out with a snarl. He stepped backwards, partly around the tree, and wondered if he would die tonight. If he was, he did the only thing he really could, gave a loud roar, but not at the creature, but a message all around. "Danger" it meant, and not like a hunting accident gone wrong. It charged him mid-roar and threw him to the ground, so much power it contained, and reflexively he immediately breathed fire upon his assailant. It leaned back in pain as its face caught most of the blast. He launched it off of him with his back legs and immediately fled, launching into the air. He flapped quickly toward the structure and looked behind him, the creature was gone. Phew, perhaps it had had enough. He turned his head back toward the structure, which was now considerably closer, and thought to himself "I'll make it". He turned back one more time to check and no sign of it was found, once more he turned back toward the structure and his heart dropped. It was in front of him and not happy. He immediately dove and built up speed, going under it and heading toward the structure. From the air, he could tell it was being used, but if that was good or bad, he couldn't tell. He focused on his flying and breathing, coordinating them to get the most out of it. But the creature had also dropped behind him and was gaining on him. What was this thing? Why did it want to kill him?

SiiKalyn walked past the ruins of dens he had seen. Some sort of monster had been through the area, like it had with his own family. Thankfully, she turned back before anybody wondered why there is a chicken in the place of a water child. Stupid powers! Arrock:

He slowly passed by the other dragons while trying to get to the spot that was somehow for the Darkdragons. Highly interested he looked around the other dragons, trying to get a good view of everybody, so he would know which one of them would make a good friend later on. Most of the time he chose from the first sight he gets of somebody, so it's not really hard for anyone else to make Arrock a friend. He fast recognized a blue and white dragon at the spot for the water child. She looked pretty nice.
He sadly wasn't able to check on the other childs, because this moment the silver coatl began to speak. Arrock slowly looked around until he recognized the pool of lava and the red Skydancer behind it. Not hard to overlook, but he still managed to feel like a dragon with very short sight.
Not really listening to the fire guardian, Arrock stood up and followed him to the next location. During the walk he decided to listen to the other conversations, like where exactly they were heading. He wasn't really good in the draconic language, so he only understood a few words, but it was enough to make out 'Great Hall.'. 'Wow', he thought, 'such a creative name...'. He passed by some of the other dragons while trying to get a good view about nearly everything, trying to locate every single shadow he could work with later on, before his enthusiasm was suddenly interrupted by literally crashing into the water child he saw earlier. "Oh... uh... I'm sorry!"

(Okay, I'm only saying this once so you don't have to bother with that again xD If you find any mistakes in grammar or spelling you can gladly throw them into my face so I can keep getting better and less confusing for you ^^)

If he could blush, his face would be a deep red. M-my bad! He studdered, trying to make him smaller than he was; which was funny, since the Fae was MUCH smaller than him. Not saying anything else, he padded off, embarrassed.

It was nice not to lead, except when there was a report of a demon.
Styx, the Ice Guardian, told him something was wrong. In response to that, he shook his head and buried it in his hands. When he looked up, he cleared his throat. Oh dear. Let's look. He responded, going the opposite of the crowd. He gestured her to follow with his tail

((Keep in mind that there is more than one demigod for each Guardian to watch over.))

Styx barely bit back a snarl, her black claws scoring marks down the otherwise pristine stone floor. She shook her head to clear and hurried after Crys, slipping through the crowd of dragons before disappearing down another hall after the Coatl.

"I'm concerned because some of the Children haven't yet arrived, and they won't be doing the world any good if they die before they get here." Styx informed her fellow gaurdian, her voice empty, concealing all of her true emotions. Although, her cold voice betrayed a hint of worry. After all, the world did need the Children, and it was their responsibility as Gaurdians to ensure that safety.

The Ice Gaurdian trotted ahead of Crys, jerking her head down yet another hall. "Follow me. The roar seemed to have come from this direction..."

SiiKalyn's heart raced as the adrenaline pumped through him. He always did have rotten luck.

"We should just kill him now" the words hissed in his ears, but that was just a memory. Dark colored Coatls were considered bad luck. The other Coatls were sure he'd bring destruction upon them, and ever since he was young bad things happened around him. His family was shamed and driven out to the farthest reaches of the Flamecaller's domain, bever to come back. They lived well enoug, established hunting grounds, lava pools, and a nice den. Until they too were attacked.

He should have just left before... A sudden movememt caught his eye as claws reached out to maul him ftom behind. He gave another beat of his wings and yelped as the claws raked across his hi dquarters and tail. He felt the warm blood painfully come from his wounds and the wind licking at them.

"NO!" He cried, heading into a dive, but that was a mistake. The monster seemingly grinned as it accelerated much faster than he did, faster than he could have anticipated. It slammed him to the ground hard, alnost crushing him. He was pinned down and ot breathed down his neck and saliva dripped onto him. His vision was shaky from the impact but he saw it well enough to figure he was already dead. It opened its horrid maw and an unbelievable stench came rolling forth like a tidal wave.

He shut his eyes tightly, shaking, and suddenly a bright flash of light appeared. The creature fell backwards onto his tail, roaring and shaling its tail. He winced but used his back legs to kick it off further. He was free. Without thinking anymore he shakily got airborne again. He was almost to the structure, almost there. No choice now but to try for it.

He breathed hard and was quickly getting tired, his wings wouldn't hold out much more. Now he was sure he wouldn't make it. These scratches burned like acid and he was exhausted. His wing started to fold and he rode the winds back to earth. The second he touched the ground he crumpled and rolled onto his side. It would find him again, no doubt, but he had no more energy to fight.

He looked to the sky and it slowly brightetened into a white space, enveloping everything it touched and he passed out.
