It's been nearly three years since Team Flare's disbandment, three years since Lysandre's entrapment underground, three years since peace finally seems to have settled over Kalos. A new generation of trainers, a new generation of Gym Leaders, a new generation of legends yet untold. But not all is well: remnants of the disbanded Team Flare have risen to power once again, and the war that was started and ended 3000 years ago threatens to rise again, this time taking the whole planet with it...
I would have loved to wait for Sun and Moon to come out before making this but sadly it couldn't wait six months. We'll likely expand it to include Alola sometime after the games' release.
I don't care how you make your bios, as long as you include necessary info, or you could just use mine as an example, I don't care. I also don't really see a problem with more than eight Gym Leaders as long as there aren't too many of the same type. (Yes, I'm talking about you, Dark-type, as you seem to be quite a popular Gym Leader OC choice. I'm guilty of the same myself.)
Username: crypticGrimalkin
Name: Havoline "Havey" Kenneth Richardson
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Description/Image: Havey is small, lanky, and pale-skinned, with dyed cherry red hair with her natural chesnut roots in a bedraggled pixie cut and hazel, almost yellow, eyes. She has silver studs in both ears (though she tends to like to swap those out for faux gauges at times) and cherubic tattoos on both shoulders. She has tendencies to wear dark clothing and is particularly fond of camo cargo pants, a black muscle tank, Doc Martens or army-style dark gray boots, and an olive-green jacket alongside an olive or black cap. She also enjoys wearing brightly-colored mismatched socks, as she doesn't much see the point in making socks match if no one is going to see them in public. Ever since a severe incident when she was young, she's had a missing leg and wears a prosthetic in its place.
Personality: Havey is well-known for her cynical, snarky personality and sullen attitude, quick to bite smart remarks at those who annoy her and all-around pretty stoic until her initial barrier is broken through; underneath she can be quite timid and nervous, but she only lets this side show to those who she feels have earned her trust, and those are few and far between indeed. She tends to ramble and stutter when she gets nervous but otherwise is quiet unless she feels she has something to say. She is a firm believer in tough love and acts accordingly with both challengers and her own Gym trainers, but she does offer advice when she feels it necessary. Ever since the incident that resulted in the loss of her leg she has hated being viewed as weak or pitied, since that was often how people saw her, and as a result tends to refuse help doing much of anything, especially since she feels she will owe whomever helped her to begin with, and prefers to do things on her own, further cementing her sullen and aloof nature. She is something of a history buff and loves exploring old legends and ruins, which leads her to be away from the Gym a lot, especially with recent troubling events, which she is working to help prevent. She prefers rock music above all other music genres, preferably metal and alternative, but has a generous amount of rap and electronica that she likes as well.
Position: Gym Leader (Laverre City). She took over the Gym from Valerie and has transformed it into something similar to a dark, crumbling ruined city to suit her type preference.
Party: Since she's often out travelling and investigating old legends, she leaves her Gym team behind with a substitute: Honchkrow, Absol, Arbok, and Gengar. When out travelling she has her own champion team with her: Umbreon (Midnight, female), Zoroark (Zorro, female), Tyranitar (Calliope, female), Skuntank (Flower, female), Gliscor (Serket, female), and Weavile (Kamaitachi, female).
Type Preference: Dark
Significant Other: None, yet
Other: She plays bass guitar and before becoming a Gym Leader had hopes of forming a band. It obviously never became reality, but she still enjoys playing. She has attempted to learn mechanics before but kind of sucks at it and, as much as she hates it, needs to call Oliver (whom she lovingly calls Ollie) when her prosthetic leg is giving her problems, which is quite often.
