Anyone want to shamelessly relive their childhood obsessions? Me too, so I started this rp!

Basic Plot

The aliens fled Earth 15 years ago, and after the Mews defeated the last of the Chimera animals, all was fine with the world. The Mews turned in their pendants and went about their daily lives. All was peaceful until aliens from another planet saw what happened on earth and decided to try taking it for themselves, at a much larger scale than the previous attack.

To respond to the aliens, another Mew Project was started. At first, they were very methodical about choosing Mews, scouting those with compatible DNA and asking their permission to join the project. This proved to be too slow, so those administering the DNA started to do it more randomly. Teams of Mew Mews are popping up, mixed with scouted member and those selected at random. Together, the mews team up to protect the earth from aliens.

Mew Guidelines

DNA must be from an endangered species
Names must be some sort of food or spice, outfit color must reflect this
Attacks should be formatted as "Ribbon *Characters Name* _________" with the blank a word to describe the attack
Weapons should be some sort of musical instrument
Mews can be any age older than 9 years old

Alien Guidelines

Names must be some sort of food (normally desserts)
Can be ranked as the following in order of importance (first as most important): Admiral, Commander, Major, Captain, Lieutenant, Grunt
Can also have support role in ship (doctor, mechanic, etc)

Rules

All basic FR rules apply
Please try to have well developed characters with flaws!
Try to be creative with the animals you choose. If there are two other people with monkey characters, maybe you're character should have monkey DNA.
Please stay active, or warn us if you are going away! I've seen a lot of RPs die because everyone's waiting for one person to respond, and I don't want that to happen. If you don't respond within a week, you're spot will be given up to someone else, and your character will be removed.
There's no limit to the amount of characters you can have, since you know your limits better than I do, but try to be reasonable. This being said, you can't have two Mews on the same team.
Please don't use art that isn't yours for your characters! A description will work perfectly well to describe your character

I figured I'd leave this open for a bit to see what the interest level is. Ideally there would be teams of five Mews and a few aliens, but if there's interest for more than five mews there can be multiple teams! I'll just play this part by ear.

Mew Mark: Hollow Circle with two straight lines angled out of the top. Located on her right knee
Weapon: Paprika Drum Sticks
Attack: Ribbon Paprika Rush
Animal Abilities: Increased speed and stamina, also able to run fast on uneven surfaces.
Occupation: Student
Appearance (Normal): Paprika's hair is incredibly difficult for her to maintain. It is course, and curly, and mostly has a mind of its own. As a result, she normally wears it up in twin buns. The color looks mostly brown, but upon closer observation there is definitely dark red mixed within the brown. Her eyes are a dark brown, and large. Paprika doesn't take very good care of her eyebrows, and as a result they are slightly bushy. She has a round nose sprinkled with freckles. Her skin is brown with cool undertones, and her body is athletic. She stands at 5'6"
Appearance (Transformed): Paprika's unruly hair, lays out of its buns and down to her shoulders. It is still curly and is one step short of an afro, poofing out a great deal from her head. The color is a vivid, brick red. Her dress is a dark, orangish-red with lighter trims. She wears the traditional choker with a pendant and her dress is strapless. The middle cuts low, but it covered by a darker fabric underneath. The lines down her dress continue until her waist, when it splits into two four slits, two on either side of her body. The slits expose her legs and go down to her mid calf. She has a pair of shorts in the lighter red, and Mary-Jane shoes that are dark red. She has a garter around her left thigh and gloves. With her transformation she also grows white, goat-like ears and straight horns that are two feet long.
Personality: Paprika is very bold and stubborn. She is never afraid to say her opinion, and if she doesn't like something you will definitely hear about it. You will probably hear about it multiple times. She has a tendency to be overly competitive and proud, even if her accomplishments don't warrant how proud she is of them. At times she can be very rash, and will rush into a situation without giving it much thought. Despite this, her heart is normally in the right place, and she's extremely loyal to those who she calls her friends.
History: When Paprika was scouted to become a Mew, she didn't give it a second thought. She immediately signed up and went to train to fight aliens. Throughout school, she had always been extremely competitive at sports, so she thought she would be a natural fighter. Her parents are normally working, so they didn't really notice that she was gone so often. Plus, this a great way to get a one up on her older sister, who she's been competing with essentially since birth.

Occupation: Bartender
Appearance (Normal): Moscato has long black hair that reaches her mid back, which she usually keeps in a low ponytail. Her eyes are brown, narrow, and always look tired. She's scrawny, flat-chested and thin-hipped, which combined for her disinterest in putting on much makeup other than foundation makes her rather androgynous. She's 5'8".
Appearance (Transformed): Her hair is now a dark green, and is no longer in a ponytail. Her eyes are bright green. She wears a chartreuse halter-top dress that reaches to her thighs, with s black lace trimming on the bottom. She has black, ankle-length high-heeled boots with knee-high chartreuse socks underneath, and wears long black gloves that reach her elbows. She has two antennae and green and black butterfly wings.
Personality: Moscato is a passive, messy person who wastes all of her tip money on takeout food. She'll whine when things don't go her way, but doesn't like conflict and would much prefer to do something she wouldn't want to do than to start a fight. She works at two separate bars, so she stays up late at night and sleeps through most of the day.
History: A Chinese-Canadian college dropout who decided that bartending suited her lifestyle better than being a student. For the most part, she's been successful... until she was picked against her will for this whole "mew mew" thing. Given the age gap between her and her teammates, she feels as if she's being forced to babysit a bunch of teenagers. At the same time, she wants to set a good example for them, so she tries to keep the details of her personal life a secret.

Weapon: Pepper Violin.

Abilities: Very fast, incredible agility.
Occupation: Student
Appearance (Normal): Her hair is an orangish red color that lays untamed on her shoulders. The long bangs nearly hide her grey-green eyes. Once she tried to tame it....Never again. Her eyes sparkle with mischief and amusement, even when there's nothing funny. You can instantly like her because of those eyes, and never look at the rest of her. Well, sometimes that's a mistake. She's thin and lithe, easily confused for sick sometimes. Her legs are long, like a dancer. Her skin is tanned, almost red.
Appearance (Transformed): Her red hair straightens a bit and turns more of an orange. A few freckles appear on her face. She wears the usual choker, with a small red pendant. Her dress is a fire-y red color, with long sleeves and a hole in the back. Her sleeves barely show her hands, because they flare out towards the elbow and nearly go down to her waist. The hole in the back shows her mew mark, almost so that there isn't a back at all. The dress goes down to her lower thigh, but then that's were it ends. Two white stripes go down her sides and front. She wears a garter on her right leg. With her transformation she also grows a tail and fizzy orange ears.
Personality: Pepper is a shy girl. Her life is that of solitude and confinement, and some even take her for a mute. Her greatest joy in life is drawing. She also has a deep passion for animals, especially cats. But, she isn't one to step down. Although you may think she's the easy one to take down, she will fight if it means something to her. When joining the mew project, you could tell she was going to whoop some serious alien butt. She was raised to fight. Her father was a big guy with big dreams for his many sons and one daughter. Plus, living in a house of twelve while you were the only girl makes you sort of tough.
History: When joining, you could tell she had a REAL reason. Not just some silly little fantasy made her do it. The reason was, the first alien she saw looked just like her old boyfriend. Crazy, right? Just kidding. Sort of. Anyway, she joined because her family has always been disappointed in her. The only girl in a family of twelve didn't do wonders for her self-confidence. She was always trying to keep pushing, trying to beat her brothers. No matter how much she tried, she was never enough for her father. At least now she could, even if nobody but herself knew it.

Ok, sorry. I was a bit short on time at the second, and then I went to work on making Basil....
I love the mews, and I can't believe my first post held only one!!
And I'll probably make an alien too....

Name: Basil Getiro
Age 10
Animal Fused With: African Wild Dog
Mew Mark: One large oval, with a smaller heart inside. It is located on her stomach, right above her belly button.
Weapon: Saxophone
Attack: Ribbon Basil Collapse(I was never good at this....)
Abilities: Great agility, awesome eyesight, and hearing. She can also smell food from a mile away...
Occupation: Student.
Appearance (Normal): Her hair is brown and wavy. She usually tries not to do anything with it, but once in a while she'll take the time to pull it into a braid that she keeps on her shoulder. Her eyes are large and amber colored, giving her that innocent yet creepy look she's famous for. Her whole body is pale, even though she is desperate for a tan.
Appearance (Transformed): Her hair turns darker, and one stripe of pure black goes through her hair next to her face. It comes undone from its braid and lays around her, soft and makes her more innocent looking. She wears a black dress with puffy, short sleeves. It puffs at her chest a bit, giving the impression of more than flatness. It goes down to her knees, and here it widens out a bit. A splash of brown on either side of her belly. They're shaped like ovals. A garnet is on her left leg, slipped down a bit. She also wears the choker, though everyone's pretty sure she hates it. A tail snakes out from under the dress, along with two large ears.
Personality: She's a bit of a mess. Everyone knows her to be polite and kind....when she feels like it. On the inside she's probably a little monster, always wondering how things will hurt others. She likes to subtly poke at others, even when it's just her who notices. She's a lot like Mint actually.
History: Nothing really yo tell. She joined because no one thought she could, and that's just who she is. Plus, she watch's a lot of TV, so saving the world? Yep.
