TOPIC | Prehistoric Dragon RP interest check
Hi! I'm Kadrim and i was suddenly struck with an idea, what time period is FR taking place in, in your headcanon? Is it modern day, and all of this just happens to go alongside modern day people, like they drive to work with dragons looming overhead? Or is it more of a natural setting, prehistoric dinosaur days, but dragons instead of dinos?

I haven't really seen an RP thread on here lately that is strictly old school dragon RP in a setting that isn't wildly magical or fantastic. I think it would be refreshing to revisit such vanilla landscapes. So I propose an old school rp that flows based on how the individual is feeling, whatever they feel is right for a rp, instead of a restrictive storyline/universe.

So, onto the actual details of this instead of more of my rambling.

This RP would, loosely:
-Take place on planet earth, pre historic times, if you want to get campy we can include cavemen characters, I would actually kind of love a 'Land of the Lost' type RP, if that is where it ends up
-Focus heavily on dragons as the main characters, with humans/neanderthals as side characters
-be nonrestrictive to a writer's creativity

Some rules, because we have to have them
-OOC comments can be put in parenthesis at the end of a post like so
(OOC: blah blah blah is it ok if i kill this character)
-all active members are tagged at the beginning of each thread post, nonactive members will be contacted and asked to either rejoin the RP or make a post wrapping up their character's role and leaving the RP, no loose ends!
- Profanity and NSFW are not allowed.
-semi lit or full lit is preferred, paragraphs preferred, not amateur friendly

Small avatars are done by copying your dragon's BBCode and replacing the first '350' in the url to avatars, and making sure to take out the _350 before .png

At the seam of the two giants, the cave mouth gaped a stony, toothless smile. A soft bed of moss covered the floor of the cave, leading into a short hollow where the wildclaw, Shawnee, slept soundly. Her breaths puffed out in warm clouds for a fleeting second, then dispersed into the chilly morning air. She found this cave by happenstance one day, fleeing from a bloodthirsty guardian that had sniffed her out of her last hole. She had ducked into this dripping grotto a second faster than the guardian could snap his jaws together around her. He had reached in for her with a massive paw, and huffed angry breath into the hole for hours before he gave up, realizing she would not come out. Shawnee had waited until nightfall, knowing that the eyes of guardians were small and nearsighted, and wouldn't be able to detect her slipping away to a safer place. When the guardian was nowhere in sight, Shawnee dashed out of the cave and up the dewy hill to overlook the crest of it. She could see the skeletal form of the guardian over the peak, yet so vast even when emaciated that he sent a shiver up her spine. She was no match for a guardian alone, and without a mate to fight alongside her, Shawnee had been running from every fight that come across her path for months. The guardian was asleep at the bottom of the hill, on the other side of the summit she stood on. She nervously looked around, back at the cave, at the huge tree in the center of the forest, and back to the guardian. She knew not which to choose, between the tree and the cave. for she knew not to take her chances with the guardian, however weakened he was. A harsh clicking sound reached her ears from the dark forest just ahead of her. Her strong legs tensed up, ready to run from any approaching danger. Smoke began to rise from the trees, and a fire ate up the leaves hungrily. (OOC: I left a few open points in this for anyone looking to jump right into the RP, just tag me and make a clear reference to the plot point you are responding to and we will get right to it!)
