[center] @Eaglefairy @Kadrim @nearsightedcat [size=7] JURASSIC [COLOR=CRIMSON] RISING [/SIZE][/color] On a island near the The Viridian Labyrinth, remote enough that only the Gladekeeper knew, a team of scientists were experimenting on dragons, to see if they could replicate the ancient dragons that were born in the beginning of dragonkind. (Basically, dragon-dinosaurs.) They took an egg from willing parents, and transported it back to their main lab, the island. They slowly shaped the eggs to be the perfect specimens, then hatched them. Not all of them lived. The dragon-dinosaurs lived a life of peace and security inside their cells, knowing nothing about the outside world. The scientists are thinking about maybe opening the park to everyone. Of course, not everybody on the team agrees with it. Will they open the park to everyone, or will they keep it private? Will the dinosaur-dragons finally find something out about the outside world, or will they be as clueless as ever? Will the dinosaur-dragons ever find out a way to escape? ------ Rules: -No godmodding/powerplaying -No having a perfect character that knows everything -Keep it PG-13. There will be blood, but don't take it too far. -Be civil. She is larger than a modern Wildclaw, and is about as high as a Guardian's head. Her sickle claw size is slightly larger than a modern one, but she doesn't use it for capturing prey. She uses her jaw, filled with razor-sharp teeth. [b]Personality:[/b] Maura is more of an aggressive dragon, often expressing her dominance, perhaps with nips, and will even chase out a pack member. She was one of the first successful experiments, so she spent most of her hatchlinghood alone. When another one came, she was eager to become the "alpha" of the group. She's about as tall as a Snapper, but a good bit longer (about 16 feet long.) Her foot-claws are her main weapons, but she can resort to teeth or scratching with her forearms in a pinch. She's similar enough to a Wildclaw that you could mistake her for one, but she is much stronger than an average Wildclaw. [b]Personality:[/b] Shira is a good team worker. She's equally smart and strong, so she can lead just as well as follow. Shira is definitely a leader-type dinoderg, which can create conflicts with Maura. To her they are animals. They are specimens just like the rest of the hybrids on the various projects she has worked on over the years. Morganite can sometimes be overwhelmed by pointless details, she likes to stick to the minimalist truth and keeps both her mind and her surroundings as tidy as possible. She loves organization, and hates when things are in disarray. She does not believe the prehistoric dragons should ever be freed or allowed off the island. Morganite thinks that the prehistoric dragons are mongrel hybrids, and doesn't think the public should see them. She is a little embarrassed of them, and of her position with working with them, but her desire to see the true face of a prehistoric dragon is so intense, she chooses to stay. To her, the hybrids should be kept hidden until a purer, more academically accepted bloodline emerges to represent the true forms of the prehistoric dragons. She firmly believes that the current prehistoric hybrids are not real dragons, and don't deserve treatment beyond basic provision of shelter and food. He holds an indifferent opinion on the dinosaurs, not really loving the dinosaurs or thinking they're just animals. Rex hybrid. If they are a dinosaur-dragon, describe them more: Snowscale has far more smaller front legs than normal Ridgebacks, to the point where they're still there but without a purpose. She also has a shorter wingspan, which means she's pretty much land-bound. She compensates for this, however, in the fact that she has sharper teeth than hatchlings her age. Personality: Experiment-300 is a lone-wolf type dragon and can become highly aggressive, especially when food's involved. Due to this, scientists usually just hurriedly shove food into her habitat before moving on in fear of a limb getting gravely injured or worse. Other: She's not fussy when it comes to food. In fact, she'll eat just about anything that's edible, though she favors meat the most. She is a more cheerful dragon, optimistic. I just finished my sign up, so I would suggest looking looking at that, then tweaking yours a bit.

The dinosaur dragon describing question is for you to describe more of their prehistoric appearance. For example, Maura is based off a Utahraptor, so she is larger than most. Wildclaws are based off the raptor family, so you have a large range of choices from the raptor family to base their character on.

Yeah, I think that I'll base off the exhibits based off of the respective dinosaur. Dinosaurs that lived most of their life in solitude will probably live alone, while the ones who work in groups live in groups. I'm thinking for the pack thing where you have an alpha, you could fight for leadership or something. I hope this explained enough. If you have any more questions, ask me. ^^

You don't have to have the dinosaur-dragons be dinosaurs. They can be just prehistoric animals that you feel resemble the FR equivalent. Like Faes can be giant insects.

Just choose whatever you think is the best dinosaur/prehistoric animal would be the best equivalent for the dragon you want to RP with. It doesn't have to be limited to one dinosaur, as the Wildclaws can be the raptor family, or the Snappers can be the Ankylosaurid family.

Of course, you can have breeds based off of another prehistoric animal that probably wouldn't be the best equivalent, like Wildclaw+Mosasaur(not a dinosaur), just run it by me first.

There are some things wrong with your sign-up sheet.

We're using FR dragons for this RP. You can have them as a scry, or have them as a real dragon in your lair, but there's no using other dragons. I know it would be exciting to use a Tigrex in the RP, but this takes place in the world of FR.

And the different "breeds" of dinosaurs will be housed in different "habitats". The T-rex will not be in the same place as the raptors. But if you're meaning the "alpha" of a T-rex pack, that's fine.

Just fix those things up and you're good!
