The bright sun burning on [url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/rp/2162413/1#post_26620886]the nocturne[/url]'s back. Lightning diving from the sky on a rumbling echo, striking the rods not much far away. The sounds were violent, cutting through the natural silence of the desert. Climbing one of the big rocks that sprouted on the ground, the dark wanderer searched for a better vision of the environment around. His claws clicked as he moved upwards, his body snaking up quickly until he was on the top of it. With a better range, his glance traveled through the yellowish grey floor, his attention changing from the cactus and the occasional movement of smaller reptiles below. Until... The sun bothered his vision, and he placed a small paw over his eyes. A silhouette approached from not much far away, what caused a sudden curiosity -mixed with awareness- to build within him. Fire eyes glanced from where he was, interested on who they could be. "Hey!" He yelled at the stranger, as he opened his wings to glide down. Once he noticed that he got their attention, he got to the ground, a bit of dirt being scattered as he landed. "Are you lost?" The noctune's tail flickered behind him, as he waited for them to come closer. The setting:On the middle of the shifting expanse, a group of dragon reunite. For different reasons, they were all exiled from their clans, [i]renegades[/i], and will find within the same feeling of abandon a reason to build an entire new clan together. What kind of past does your dragon hide? Will they stay till the end? Notes: My initial idea is that this will become [b]a long term roleplay[/b]. Of course you're not obligated to stay till the very end (though, that would be awesome omg), but if you were to eventually leave make something with your character(s); like they flew away in the night etc So the other players aren't left hanging. Another thing is that you’ll be free to make characters come and go as you see fit, in case you get tired of your current one. Or even come back to the setting if for some reason you decided to leave ^^ Rules: [indent] • It's required that you use a dragon from the scrying workshop. Even tho, you're still allowed to take inspiration from a dragon on your clan ^^ • No one liners, please. It's a little harder to answer to those kind of posts… I’d recommend a paragraph at least, but, idk, if you can apply information on a few sentences, I won't deny you from entering lol • No powerplaying, any kind of personal harassment or impoliteness on OOC. Bickers between characters can happen, but never take it to a personal level • Romance is allowed and even encouraged. Also, this roleplay is LGBT+ friendly~ • One active character per player for now. [b]Mate[/b]: None at the moment, and gender isn't a subject that he would be in his way. Though, he does have a preference for breeds that are actually bigger than him. [b]Personality:[/b] [color=brown]= Moralistic / outspoken / Ascetic [/color] Po has a clear and unequivocal line between what he believes is right or wrong. A net of ideas that were build within him as time passed by, after many experiences he lived on his previous clan. He doesn't hide those memories, nor his opnions, and will gladly share his thoughts if asked. [s]Sometimes you don't even need to ask[/s]. Other than that, he doesn't find much appeal on materials and objects, something that benefits his generosity, as he doesn't mind sharing anyway. [color=brown]+Strong Willed / brave / generous[/color] He’s tough and courageous, doing what needs to be done to achieve an objective. A few things would make him give up, but that doesn't that he forget of others as he fights. A kind heart still pulses inside of him -at least to those he isn't oposed to-, and he would always offer help if needed. [color=brown]- truculent / impatient / assertive [/color] His head is very closed to different opinions though, what can come to be a problem when a discussion arrives. And as if that wasn't enough, he’s also prone to fighting and arguing if his voice is not being heard. The contrary of a concelour. Though, he does have a talent with words, and get clearly more confident on his public speeches. [b]The expulsion:[/b] [i]“So after all that you have done against me… You really thought that you’d get away this time?” A harsh voice echoed on the dark room, as soon as a greenish nocturne was dragged into it. Two skydancers brought him between the long doors, and threw him in front of the governor carelessly. With a thump, he did nothing more than glare upwards, answering the wildclaw with a snarl as his legs were tied together. The leader approached, a sick smile on his face, returning the look he received with nothing less than disdain. “You know what you are, snake?” He stopped in front of him, crouching down. “Nothing more than talk. And those manifestations were only a way to receive the attention that you wanted.” The wildclaw holded his chin, one of his claws scratching it slightly. “You never had courage, hiding in the streets all this time…” Leaving the other go and getting up, shadow eyes glinted at the dragon below him. “But I’m feeling merciful today. If you promise to be a loyal villager, if you promise to drag yourself behind my steps... I'll let you go with few problems.” The leader lowered his head until his eyes were on the same level that the other’s. “What do you say?” A fire burned behind the nocturne’s eyes, anger and fury engulfing his thoughts as a serpent. Fast, blinding his mind for a few second. In response to the proposal, he spit on the commander’s face. “Not even dead.” He replied, poison on each word. His leader snarled, growled under his breath. “Very well.” After swiping the stain away, he walked around the nocturne to the exit’s direction, hands behind his back. “Teach him a lesson. And make sure that he doesn't ever step inside my reign again.” He said on an oddly calm tone, and the nocturne held his breath. After the doors closed, the first thing he heard was a dread laugh from his captors.[/i] [b]Inventory:[/b]Nothing at the moment. He travels light. [b]Other: [/b]I brought this dragon’s design from the random scry in the scrying workshop. I took a few days to develop this rp, and odly enough in the middle of it, I found that someone hatched a noc exactly like him. A gen one, fire dragon, with the exact colours that I thought he would have??? What were the odds, omg ._. I wouldn't ever lose this opportunity, so I bought him immediately.

His feathers are dusty, tattered, and unkempt. A good deal larger than the majority of most coatls. [b]Mate: [/b] None. Secretly, he is shy and feelings of unworthiness have gotten in the way of finding romance. [b]Personality:[/b] [color=brown]=shame[/color] Reji has spent the majority of his life growing and trying to explain to himself why his parents cast him out of his clan. A confused child came up with the idea that it is his fault, and the ghosts of such thought processes can be seen on him well into adulthood. [color=brown]+Understanding/Secretly Humble/Loyal/Coherent/Wise[/color] Reji is extremely loyal, in that if you do him a favor, he will be sure to do you one as well. Although many coatls have an issue with hearing others due to the differences in which the breed experiences sound, Reji's time away from his own kind have provided him with a keen sense of "hearing" in the way that coatl's experience it. When he speaks, he is more clear and audible than many coatls, and his words make a clear string of sense the majority of the time (even if what he says may seem wildly unappreciated in a certain situation). Unbeknownst to many, Reji is incredibly humble. Sometimes he spouts excellent advice and wisdom. [color=brown]-faux pride/abrasiveness/emotionally inarticulate/aloof/alienated[/color] Reji hasn't spent much time with other dragons, due to feelings that these other dragons will abandon him, or feelings of unworthiness or uselessness. In some ways it shows, in other ways, he masks it well. Reji fakes a sense of pride in order to intimidate and impress other dragons, and it can often come across as being rude or cruel. He is abrasive when it comes to his clueless honesty, and even socially inarticulate, due to no social experience and not knowing the correct thing to say in a given situation. It certainly gives Reji the sense of being disconnected emotionally and uncaring for others. All these faults contribute into his feelings of alienation, and thus feed back into his false sense of pride. [b]The expulsion:[/b]Reji was banned from his all-coatl clan for his colorless plumage. Not wanting other children to experience bad luck or become ill, Reji was exiled, and had been feeding on the bones of creatures dead in the carrion canyon ever since (even if it's not the most healthy diet for a coatl). [b]Inventory:[/b] [item=Scout's Tail Twist] He keeps a bottle of oil and an unlit torch by his side at most times. [b]Other:[/b] Always hungry.
