RIDE ON!
"It can't be... its been years since anyone even thought about that, that thing." A voice hissed, revealing a woman with long black hair done in a loose braid. Another male stood in front of her, although he was much shorter and had pointed ears and yellowed skin that gave him away as a wyverian. His clothes were like what royals wore, all gold trim and soft furs that fit his small frame perfectly.
"That is true but that does not mean that it was through. Even though we have been unknowing it has been growing. Over all of these years it has only grown and feed off of our dark emotions." The small wyverian spoke causing the woman to tsk before the sound of a door slamming open drew their attention to an exhausted young man with a Velocidrome by his side as he gasped for breath. The two shared a look as they waited for the new person to speak up as he fought to catch his breath. Finally with one drawn out breath he placed a hand against the raptors shoulder before looking both of his superiors in the eye.
"H-Head Rider J-Joan and G-Guild M-Master Sahir! There has been another sighting of the Black Blight! Reports say that some miners in Geo-Fulkright have seen some blight affected monsters in the depths of the volcano." The young rider reported, his Velocidrome nodding in agreement as the seniors nodded in thought before dismissing the duo who bowed before backing out quickly.
"It's drawing closer and closer everyday, and we need to do something before it has gained too much ground." Joan spoke, rubbing her forehead as she felt a headache rearing its head like an angry Rathalos. Her superior nodded his wise head, the shining golden turban on his head somehow managing to stay on as he moved to his chair. The ornate staff he always carried with him clicked against the smooth stone of the Guilds floor before finally settling on the throne-like seat in the very center of the room.
"That is true but there is no need to be blue. With Hunters and riders united the Black Blight can be smited." Sahir spoke with a smile, watching the womans face twitch ever so slightly. The woman had had bad interactions with hunters trying to kill her monsties in the past so the creation of Rider Stones had been created for not only Joans use but also for other Riders of the Hunters Guild. The multi-colored crystals that held her monsties glowed along her waist as if reacting to the multiple emotions running through her head in an effort to calm her down.
"That is why upon your shoulders you will be the beholder. A leader of Hunters and Riders together so that the Blights plans may once again be slighted." With that Joan groaned, an armored hand moving to rub at her face in its entirety. The headache was no longer Rathalos level and had moved to have equal footing with an Eruzerion that she had fought once. She did not complain though, for it was not in her nature to do so, instead she bowed. Her right hand pounded over her heart before she left the room entirely to do as she was ordered.
That conversation marked the beginning of the search for both Hunters and Riders that were deemed to be capable in being apart of a selective group to find and destroy the Black Blight before it destroyed the world.
You have been chosen along with five others to join the Blight Eradication Devision (or B.E.D for short). Your goal is to travel along the same path as the brave people who eradicated the blight the last time in order to find out the secret to its defeat and to see if there is a way to put it to rest forever. The road will be be full of trials that test your skills, but you are a skilled individual after all so this will be nothing compared to what you have already done.
