We-- demons as humans would call us-- lived in our own country of Viventem by our own rules. Happy, healthy, and in peace with the other races of the world, until the day that all changed. War broke out with the humans, and even after long years of perilous fighting, we did not come out on top. 600 years ago our king was killed by a being known as the Archangle, a being with the wings, tail, and talons of an owl. So we did the only thing we could, and we fled to the land of humans, where we locked up our true forms and any part of us that could be out us or get us killed. We have no idea what became of our homeland, or what will become of us. Or at least that's what we thought. A call has beckoned us home, back to the homeland where we can live freely and happily. Our king has returned, to a land in shambles, but to our home no less. Now he calls us back, to those who wish to come work at his command or even just live under his rule. It is time for us to rebuild, to survive, to fight for our home, and to [b]live.[/b][/center]

This means you can enter and exit your character from the world as you need to depending on if you can rp or not. If you need to exit your character, please let whoever you're interacting with know so the current interaction can end. In these cases your character will be going about their job within the castle undisturbed by whatever is going on around them :D [*]This rp is going to operate on a ping system rather than subscribing. That way you can keep track of just your character if you want to and don't get too many alerts from things not involving your character. (however if you want to follow the entire rp feel free, this is just a way to avoid people getting overwhelmed). The names of the different types of demons also come from humans, since humans thought different types of demons resembled certain creatures from legends, myths, and beliefs. It is fantasy based, so they use magic for everything [*]No one knows anything about the war except those who were alive during it. The neckline is folded over to create a collar on the coat, and he wears a black shirt under it all. Pants are black, and so are the boots which have a slight heel and come up to just above his shins. White or black gloves are fingerless and reaches down to about his elbow. Has two piercings in the top of his left ear which are normally black tag looking earrings. [*][b]Other:[/b] Has solid black markings that go up his spine starting at his tail. He does know and likes to wield a pair of sabers as well, but generally only has them in a serious situation/battle. He can manipulate a type of metal, though it is a very rare kind so the power is fairly useless unless items-- such as his weapons-- are specifically made with it, though even then he cannot change the metals form and can only move it around. Along with that he inherited venom form a gorgon bloodline. The other ability he inherited form apparent Leshy bloodlines, as he can 'see' through they eyes of animals he has a very strong bond with. He happens to know a few standard spells for everyday life, and a more major one which can return Nagini to her actual size and back to a smaller form. Although she does know a minor glamour spell, she despises using it since she considers her wings to be a vital part of her identity.
