TOPIC | Interest Check - Werewolf Rp
1 2
Hi hi! I'm checking the interest in a werewolf roleplay group, something small and close knit.

This roleplay will be hosted on Discord!

I won't move it to FR no matter how many ask, so before you continue please note you will need a DISCORD ACCOUNT to roleplay!

Roleplay Info:
Size: 5-6 members approximately; 1 character per person, maybe 2
Setting: Wild West, Late 1800s
Rp type: Literate, 2 paragraphs average

The lore for the Werewolves features in this Rp is customized to the follow:
- The better one is at emotional control, the better they are at controlling their shifts.
- All werewolves acknowledge their wolf side is another conscience residing within them, meaning they refer to it as a separate being within them.
- The older a wolf gets the more worn down their body becomes since their wolf healing tires to keep up, so by the time a wolf is 80-100 they consider becoming a full-time wolf; younger pack members help ensure the older wolves are well fed and etc, and fellow old pack members will be company.
- Most werewolves can transform their hands, eyes, ears, and teeth with practice and control.
- Only like 8% of werewolves can transform into human-wolf hybrids that look like the classic movie werewolf, most go Human --> Wolf. For this Rp only 1 or 2 characters will be able to shift into the classic in-between werewolf form.
- The reason the in-between form is so hard is because it's an equilibrium between the human and wolf side of the host, usually only alphas or older wolves achieve this level of control.
- Wolves and humans can get along, in fact many werewolves take precautions to defend their human packmates. Having families is another issue, as even human packmates are rare at the moment.
- Lone wolves are not uncommon in unsettled areas or "the new world" as many call it at the time.
- Werewolves exist in every culture and just about every canine species except domestic dogs; AKA only wolves, coyotes, & jackals
- Different cultures control, deal with, and treat their werewolves differently. i.e; Scottish werewolves are treated like old friends by everyone who knows them, British werewolves are seen as a threat.

That is all!~ Feel free to comment, if I get enough people I'll ping all the members then PM them the discord link x3

I'd actually be pretty interested in this. Would we all be playing as one pack? Or would it be something different.

@Solanceae - It depends! I think quite a few characters could be in the same pack, but there can be a loner or two. Or perhaps one who has a small pack.
