Hi there! My name is Kat, short for Kattata, but you can call me Thren or Kata or Tata or Hey, You! Get Out of the Fridge! SO a little about me. I am 30 and have no real idea what I'm doing with my life-- but this means that I'm looking for a partner who is capable not only of writing literate, multi-paragraph posts, but also capable of handling mature topics. (Of course, if something comes up that you're just not comfortable with, [i][b]let me know[/b][/i] and I will drop it! We all have triggers, but I can't fix it if I don't know it's a problem!) I [i]love[/i] romance, but only if it makes sense. Most of the time this means 'slow burn' and that is [i]just fine[/i] for me! I love seeing a relationship evolve and change over time (obv I'm looking for a long-term partner, lol), not just ... fairytale falling in love at first sight. That being said, I'm good with p. much all pairings—the only one I'm a bit stiff about is fxf. I'll do it, but you'll probably have to persuade me! Another thing: I [i]love[/i] blood and tragedy. No, you don't understand. I [i][b]LOVE[/b][/i] blood and tragedy. You know the ending of the movie The Mist? THAT kind of tragedy, with just like COPIOUS amounts of blood and lots and lots of near-death experiences, no matter what the rp is. Because of this I've been told that I [i]actually[/i] like hurt/comfort, but ok watev man I just calls my loves as I sees 'em and I sees 'em [i][b][color=#FF0000]b[/color] [color=#D30000]l[/color] [color=#A70000]o[/color] [color=#A70000]o[/color] [color=#D30000]d[/color] [color=#FF0000]y[/color][/b][/i] ... so if you don't appreciate t'occasional character near-death (or actual death-- could end in a plot to get the deceased back from the afterlife somehow, which is tons of fun to rp with the right characters!), but if you've always wanted to kill your own characters but the people who actually, [i]truly[/i] appreciate that thing are few and far between, well ... [i]I'm here now[/i]. and honestly following that it is [i][b]too obvi[/b][/i] but on the off-chance it needs spelled out: I love conflict!! The slow development of Hank coming to view Connor as more than just a machine! THE FACT THAT HE LOST HIS SON AND IS PROBABLY PROJECTING A BIT ON THIS YOUNG-MAN-LOOKIN' NERD. I love platonic relationships between guardians and their charges, whether that bond/obligation is magical or psychological. Almost a child/parent type relationship, but nooot quite. Def no romance here though![/indent] That being said, I also love the heck out of villains becoming attached to a young child for whatever reason, beginning to [i]repent[/i] whatever sins they've committed—whether it's blowing up their own dimensions and killing everyone within it, friends and parents alike; or, say, murdering multiple children, including his own, as well as the daughter of his once best friend. Nothing can ever make up for that, and by rping a character that has done those things, I don't [i]condone[/i] it in the least; I just freakin' [i][b]love[/b][/i] a character like that striving, in some way, whether they realize it or not, for a kind of atonement.[/indent] An atonement for murdering children, by bonding to and caring for a child to an infinite degree. Y'know ... just an example off the top of my head. I've never met anyone who's even read The Named series let alone wanted to roleplay it so this is super exciting! It's been ages so I may need to brush myself up on everything, but I definitely loved that series and while I haven't roleplayed it before, I'd love to give it a shot.

Also my boyfriend is slowly starting to suck me into liking Pokemon so if you don't mind my occasional screw-ups I'd be down for that as well. Just saw the new movie and I thought it was adorable! It makes me want one haha.

I'd also be down for Marvel, Jurassic Park, Supernatural, you name it.

aw yay, I'm glad to see people are interested kjdfgkj ;w; I'm sorry I didn't mention it in my first post, but I do a lot of rescue/foster work, which can sometimes leave me feeling v. v. emotionally drained.
