Legends of survival have captured readers for as long as stories have been told.
Now, the warrior Clans have had their territory invaded by Twolegs overflowing their city borders, scooped up and locked in cages, placed in dark warehouses first, and then sealed in a ship’s black belly. Cats of all three Clans have been lumped together without regard for families or Clanmates, and the very foundation of the Clans threatens to come apart as the boat sets sail.
A storm arises out of seemingly nowhere, slaps the ship until cats pour into the sea, and an island looms before the bedraggled Clans. Ominous and foreign, filled with new predators and new terrain, it’s also the Clans’ only hope for survival.
It’s a little unfortunate that their only hope for survival is also what’s trying to kill them.
