(@Fehrawn Sorry it took so long I wanted to come up with a good starter and I had major writer's block so here it is. And I have already subscribed.)

The day was only about to start it's descending as the sun hung high in the sky that was covered in dark clouds. Idila was known for its heavy showers in the fall time as well as the spring. Though with storms came a pretty good cover for one boy. A slew of murders have been going around the city each at the time of the rain and everything followed a pattern. No witnesses. No screams. No weapons. Animal-like attack.

The one behind it though had a reason to kill all the people who had been killed. They were on his hit list. They all hunted him at one point and now he is returning the fear they made him feel by hunting them instead. He has already killed at least seven of the fifteen that have made him feel helpless. Though on the last kill he left the investigators a single clue. He left a typed note that said '7/15. Soon I'll turn myself in. But if you find me beforehand I will tell you a fairy tale leading to the victims' deaths. ~Shadow Wolf'

Now in the rainy streets, a boy with the eyes of glowing rubies has set his sight on the eighth victim. His footsteps were silenced by the people around him as he weaved through the moving crowds. He followed the girl and from behind he grabbed her making sure she didn't scream and dragged her into an alley. The girl kicked and bit his hand but he felt no pain. He growled though and the girl grew still in his arms.

"Looks like you recognize me, Dr. Lee. I was hoping you did after what you put me through." He growled and without hesitation, he bared his wolf-like k-9s and killed her like he did the rest. He left a not on her body after he did something different. Since she bit him he needed to keep investigators for getting DNA so he shoved trash into her mouth. The new note read, '7 left now. I hope you are having fun. Soon it will be over I promise. ~Shadow Wolf'.

After that, he left and shoved his hood up and put his head down so he could wipe the blood off his face. He got to his apartment ten or so minutes later and grabbed a lighter and his metal trash bin. He shoved his bloodied clothes into the bin and threw a lit match into it. He closed the bin and let it burn till ash was the only thing left. He fabreezed the air and dumped the ash out the window letting the rain carry it down. "I wonder if they will ever believe what I have gone through with these people."

Another victim, another day. So little left to examine, but the r chief is stubborn enough to send them anyway. It's damaging, to have nothing but notes purposely left by a killer you can't catch. 'Shadow Wolf' hunting down seven more people. They promised to turn themselves in, after the death of more people.

She couldn't let it happen, but she was tired, in more ways than one. Endless nights staring at the bits and peices of the case, trying to figure out a pattern. It felt so random, so out of place. Though she had unfortunately dealt with serial killings before, she always caught them before the third or fourth victim. This was different and it cut deep into her mind.

"You're needed on the scene, Morgan."

She glanced up, slamming the case file down. Grabbing her items and gloves, she opens the doors and heads to where she was needed. She goes over the facts quickly in her head. Female, Ph.D, about mid-twenties, no weapon, killed by animal like defenses. Note written by the killing, written in manner as the other note. Mouth stuffed with garbage to mask DNA. She sighed as she got to the scene. She had to catch this sociopath, with whatever she was given.

The boy, Blake, left his house later that day in his normal clothes. He wore his black sleeveless hoodie and black sweatpants. He had his spare shoes on just in case blood was on the other ones. He walked by where the girl he killed was and saw a crowd around the crime scene. He pushed through to the front and saw a few tired investigators. He put his hand to his mouth looking to the dead body being covered.

One of the investigators saw him and went up to him. "I knew her you know, I talked to her a few times when I worked out. She seemed like a nice girl but I heard rumors about her past, How she worked in an illegal lab on humans." He said and looked away from the body. The investigator looked thoughtful and asked him a few more questions until he had no more. Blake answered them all in a bent truth telling them what she had done without telling him anything about who killed her.

He walked away and went to the next area of attack. He waited there till the end of the day and watched as his next victim walked by. He watched everyone knowing their patterns like the back of his hand. He typed up on his phone the next message and rushed home and grabbed it. He went back to where he saw the man and followed him into a park that he liked to take as a short cut.

He walked up behind him and grabbed him with extended claws. He didn't even give the man a chance to fight as he ripped his throat out with his teeth and left him to die. He wiped the wound with a cloth and stuffed it into his hoodie. He placed the new note on the man. The note read: 'And then there were 6. You guys are working hard I can see. I saw you today from afar as you buzzed over my kill. They all deserve it but you never gave them the punishment they deserved. So I am doing it for myself. ~Shadow Wolf'

Right as he left the note he heard a gasp from behind him and saw a girl. He put his finger to his lips shooshing her as she backed away. He growled and for the first time in a month, he shifted into his full wolf form making her scream. She didn't get far before she was mowed down and killed by him. He flipped her on her back and crossed her arms over her chest. In a way, it was a way of saying sorry for killing her. Before he left he gave his next clue which was a long and powerful howl.

Adja knew that many would be curious of murder. A bit morbid, but natural human curiousity nevertheless. But, another factor in was that murderers like this, love to tease the FBI by showing up a crime scene. Her eyes watched the people go by, detectives chatting and chasing them away. One of them was the killer, but who?

She had to leave the scene, almost empty handed with nothing but a back story on the victim. She passes her co-workers without a word, keeping her eyes on the floor. She mutters a few words to herself, trying to figure out what she could have missed. She sits at her desk, combing over ideas again for a few hours until she was forced out by her friends.

She waited, and waited. She stayed awake as best as she could, napping a bit before jolting awake. just for a call. Buzz. There is was, early in the morning. Another kill--no wait, two. Different, at least the timing of the witnesses were getting better.
"I'll be there as quickly as I can." She mutters, hanging up before anyone could say anything.

Blake stayed around in the forest as he felt slightly guilty for having to kill the witness but mainly because he heard the chilling 'Mommy?' that came after. Blake found a kid near where the kills were and went after the kid. he wanted to keep the kid from seeing the murders, no child should see that type of thing. When he neared the kid the little boy cried 'Doggy!' and went to him willingly. Blake kept docile and licked the kid's face showing he was friendly.

He heard the sirens coming quickly and laid on the floor with the kid. The kid was on his knees petting his black fur excitedly saying 'good doggy' here and there. Blake didn't mind as he wrapped his tail and head protectively around the boy. He saw lights come near and saw detectives coming with drawn guns and flashlights. He already heard a call about the kills and he didn't hear them mention anything about him. They would mention now as they came close enough to see him.

When they got close with the drawn guns he pulled his lips back and growled becoming defensive. He heard the boy whimper and he quieted down nuzzling the boy not wanting to scare him off into the woods or to the people hunting him. He still bared his sharp teeth at them as they advanced not wanting to let go of the only human contact he's had in a while.

On her drive there, she kept her brown eyes sharp in the darkness to catch any runaway serial killers. The radio was busy, updates on each squad arriving or already on the ground. One update caught her attention. A small boy seen with a dog, or wolf. Adja listened closely to those reports, and how they were closing in to get a better look.

As she arrived, she nearly jumps out her vehicle towards the crowd of her fellow workers. Guns were drawn, tension split the air, and in the middle, was the boy and the canine. Alright, time to get to work. She turns to her gear in the car, but is stopped by the whimper of the boy. Adja hisses at herself for what she was about to do. She walks in front of the line of officers, despite the murmur of disapproval. She doesn't get to close the boy and the dog, the creature looks like it might attack.

"Hey," She quietly says and gives a small comforting smile to the boy. "My name is Adja, what's your's?" She had to be easy on the boy. There were guns everywhere, and if something fell off the edge, there would be hell to pay, and her only lead gone.
"Samuel," The boy whispers, his voice a bit shaken, and his grip on the dog tight.
"Hey Samuel, we aren't going to hurt you, we just got to find some answers and we think you've got some." She motions for the other's to put the guns away.

Once Blake sees that the guns were being put down he calmed down and shook out his fur and stood up. He nuzzled the boy with his snout and licked his face receiving a small giggle and Blake scooted him towards the officer. He wasn't keen on letting go of the boy for he felt comforted with a small child's presence. He walked with the boy slowly and as he walked his full size showed. At his shoulder, he stood at least twice the size of a normal wolf.

His side made him quite intimidating bt having the child made him seem rather kind. He walked the boy to the investigator before backing off quickly. He growled loudly at everyone and his eyes once a golden color was shrouded in a deep red. He blinked it away and turned away from them. He heard the clinking of guns and he turned his head to see nervous officers with shaking guns in their hands.

He so badly wanted to show them more fear but he held back and started walking away slowly. He wasn't one to break off running but once he reached the forest edge he looked back to the boy once more and nodded his head once. He then bounded off into the tree line blending into the darkness easily. Once he was far enough away he stopped running and lifted his head to the air. He howled to the moon a long and powerful howl. His song echoed off the trees and drifted for miles after he finished and he continued on at a slower pace shifting back into his human form.

He made it back to his house with no issue and threw away his shredded clothes and burned them like he did the last ones. He laid on his bed and placed his arm over his eyes not liking the fact that he had to kill the woman who witnessed him kill the man. He hoped that him positioning her in the way one may position a family member in a casket portrayed his regret for killing her. If not he would mention it in the next note with a small apology. Though he was glad he finally got the name of one of the investigators on the case. "Adja huh? What a lovely name. I can't wait to speak with you soon my dear flower." He whispered to himself.

She held the little boy's hand as the large dog backed away. She lead him the other's, asking them to keep him away while she's scours the scene. Grabbing her gear from the car and put on her gloves.
"Time to work." She mutters unenthusiasticly. As she IDs the victim's, she catches a few of her fellow co-workers chatting.

"Do you think the boy did it? Sent that wolf on them?"
"Maybe. But what would give the little boy such rage? Or how could he control that thing?"
"He didn't seem to have much control. Probably just some stray that found the boy."
"And helped him kill all these people?"
Adja rolls her eyes, shutting her small computer down. Before she could say her witty comment, another did it for her.
"Do you idiots really think he did it? Look at him! Look at the notes and evidence!"

They all lowered their heads, and went back to the assigned job. Adja turned back as well. First victim, thirty-two years of age, male, killed much like any other of the victims. Murderer left a note on this one. Six more victims. It hadn't added up, since another victim was close by. Female, around twenty five, mother of one. Samuel. The position of her was odd. She must have been running away, a witness. Place in a very peaceful, at rest position. How odd.

Blake finally fell asleep that night around one in the morning thinking about the woman and her son. He felt so much guilt for killing her but he panicked and didn't want his work to come to an end when there was six left to punish. He dreamt of nothing and woke up feeling slightly better but not by much.

He grabbed the next pair of clothes he had and put them on quickly. Be booted up his computer and typed out his next note. "Dear detective(s), I am very sorry about the witness having to die. I feel guilty for killing her now more than ever when I saw she had a small child. I just have five left. It'll be over soon, I promise. ~Shadow Wolf". He then printed it out and folded it into his pocket.

The next on his list was the lawyer he backed up the group and made them innocent even though they killed so many children to make the weapons they wanted. He had his eyes set on his since the beginning but the guy went into hiding. He found him only recently and had his eyes set on him immediately. He walked out of his apartment and locked up before heading to the busy streets below. He kept his hood up and his head lowered with his hands in his pockets.

Looking around he could see a large number of cops around looking for anyone who may help them catch the mass killer. He smirked knowing that he was throwing them through the wringer when he bumped into someone. He looked up and saw the detective, Adja, staring at him. He gave a polite smile and apologized quietly before going on.

He made sure the note was safe and sighed feeling the paper against his fingers. And continued on as if nothing happened. Soon he picked up the trail of his next target and for the next few hours just kept on his trail. He was good at this as he practiced it many times before.

Soon dusk fell and the man was making his way home. He cut through an alley and Blake grinned like a Cheshire cat. 'Bad move' he thought to himself and followed him down. He pulled his hands out of his pocket and grabbed the man muffling his cried with his hand. "You should have let them go down. They killed children and you made them innocent." He growled in his ear. The man grew stiff before he started shaking making Blake grin madly.

Blake killed him like he did the others and shoved the note in his mouth before he left but he left one more thing for them. He left a wolf paw print at the scene to throw them off just a slight bit.

Adja was always told that her paranoia was nothing but a nuisance. Many grew tired of it, and even stopped talking to her due to it. Despite that, she knew, ABSOLUTELY knew, that she had seen that boy before. The one that ran into her, she had a caught a glimpse of him at the crime scene of Dr. Lee. The chances of that, highly unusual. She would identify him as soon as she could. She could have followed him. But then it would be known that her paranoia gets the best of her, and she rather likes being able to work on cases freely.
"Alright, Shadow Wolf, I'll play your game." She hisses under her breathe.

The next call came late. The scene was same as usual. Normal citizen, with an dark secret of rumors. Note and a subtle and useless clue. She asked for an ID on the boy she had run into early before continuing her work.

"I think we found your person, Morgan." Shelby Torres calls, and Adja was quick to the call. There he was. Blake. If he wasn't the killer, he would know something, she was sure of it.
"Call him in. I want a chat."
"I don't think we can do that without,--"
"Do it." Adja demands with a sharp look in her eye.
