I remembered I hadn't finished Ultra Sun or Moon, and I actually have an open spot for Ultra Moon, so I have that game available for a new run! Thus... I'd like to do a simultaneous run with somebody else!
Essentially how it's done is we do a nuzlocke (can do it as we roleplay or before we roleplay) and we base the roleplay's events off of our logs.
If we do it on a cartridge game (I have quite a few available but Ultra Moon is the only one I might have open?) we can even do battles before or after every gym!
But we can also do it on an emulator, could even randomize it! If we emulate it, though, we can't battle after or before every gym. I also think my Emulator has started lagging real bad on my computer so > - >... bleh.
Basic rules, we can decide to add more handicaps since the games from Gen 6 onwards are a bit easier:
xxxxx- If a Pokemon faints, permabox/release it (I prefer the former 8'D)
xxxxx- One Pokemon per route. (Incl. gifts, rock smash, trades, surf, etc)
xxxxx- Shiny Clause 8V
xxxxx- No revives
Other rules can include:
xxxxx- No EXP share on when there's more than 2 Pokemon on your team
xxxxx- No Pokemon Amie/SM Counterpart
xxxxx- or alternatively "Abuse that to all heck" (my favorite rule)
xxxxx- Catch legendaries but don't use them
xxxxx- Wobbuffet/Stupid Death/Counter/Mirror Coat/Destiny Bond clause (wobbuffets are terrifying in Nuzlockes, I swear)
xxxxx- One Wondertrade allowed
xxxxx- Soul Locke! Essentially where every pokemon we catch per route is "soul-locked" with the other, (My route 1 is "soul locked" to your Route 1) so if dies, the other dies, too! 8>c

xxxxx • I've been roleplaying for well over 10 years now.
xxxxx • Currently have no job after quitting my previous one but do have some pretty time-intensive classes so replying every day isn't 100% a possibility.
xxxxx • I graduated college in 2015 and have a major in Animation and Creative Writing. Currently taking 3D modeling classes. I'm on my last year.
xxxxx • I highly highly HIGHLY value a friendship with my roleplay partner. I find it almost impossible to get into an rp without communication with my partner that isn't just about the roleplay.
xxxxx • World building is my jam.
xxxxx • I will emphasize, though, that we MUST NOT use canons as our mains!
xxxxx • I prefer playing 16 to late 20 year olds.
