Not completely sure if I interpretted the magic use in this world correctly! They're all exalted or sold anyways and I only bred her to try and get certain colors ^-^[/i] [/i][b]Name[/b]: Inagwyllt (Gwyl for short) [b]Gender[/b]: Female (She/Her pronouns) [b]Sexual Orientation[/b]: Homosexual [b]Breed[/b]: Spiral [b]Age[/b]: 15 [b]Role[/b]: Student [b]Dorm (student only)[/b]: Dorm Two [b]Subject (Teachers Only)[/b]: N/A [b]Magic[/b]: She specializes in a power similar to telekinesis, but she is able to 'enchant' objects. For example, if she saw a book that she enjoyed reading but it had a particularly slippery cover or was stored often in a far away place, she would most likely enchant it to grow small wings (levitation would take far too much energy and concentration) and be able to respond to certain magical signatures so that she would be able to call it to her with magic. However, Gwyl is a long way from mastering the actual enchantment of the objects, but she can enchant any object within her sight, and the many eyes that run along the length of her body nearly erase that obstacle completely. The largest setback is that she needs to be able to understand what she is doing on a physical level. She has to be able to understand the joints in the wings of the book, the individual feathers and weight distribution, and she has to figure out if she'd rather use a sort of pineal eye that, instead of sensing light, senses magic, or if she'd rather have the book 'hear' the magic. It's very complicated to perform the simplest of tasks, hence why she is so prolific in her studies. [b]Background[/b]: Gwyl was the first in her clan to hatch with multi-gaze. The multitude of eyes that stretched along the impressive length of her body was certainly a surprise, but not an unwelcome one. Her clan was accepting and could care less about how different she was and the accommodations that came along with her many eyes. Certain articles of clothing and accessories would cause extreme amounts of pain for her, and although she grew [i]some[/i] resistance to it over time, it was still certainly a set-back during the colder parts of the year. Gwyl is a very resilient and strong dragon. She has taken a lot of poking and prodding (never really aggressive poking and prodding, mind you), and is used to questions. She doesn't mind at all as she would ask them herself, truthfully. However, she's very shy and will usually give you a short answer unless she knows you well. Gwyl is also very scholarly and works very hard in her studies. This means she gets stressed very easily, though. Gwyl tries her hardest to be respectful of everyone and also very responsible with her work, too. She can be very caring and protective of those who need it or who she loves and can find much more will to stand up or do things for others than she can for herself. In her free time, she likes to do an extra bit of studying here and there, make adjustments to her armor and also to think of various ideas for enchantment and add them to a sketchbook/journal she keeps on the subject. If you ever want to get on her good side, simply offer her a cave gecko. They are her [i]absolute favorite[/i]. They're very hard to find in her homeland so she appreciates any she can get. New pencils and supplies of magical energy are greatly appreciated as well! She also likes textbooks that can help her to enchant objects and considers the act of gifting her any as proposing her a challenge. She loves to read fiction as well, and more secretly, romance novels are a soft spot. The armor she wears is one that she has crafted mostly herself. The metalwork was not done by her, but she designed each piece and had the pieces made by her clan blacksmith. Gwyl also put everything together and made leather bumpers on the edges of the metal to keep it from irritating her eyes too much. Since she has had this armor for a fairly long time, she has added many enchantments to its collection; if they start to come into direct contact with one of her eyes, the armor releases clove oil (numbing agent) onto the surface of the eye and she is able to make adequate edits later when she gets a chance to. The armor also is enchanted to have a (rather weak and flimsy) barrier around her form that protects her from most magical attacks and spells. It can only withstand around 2 or so mediocre spells before it breaks and needs to be repaired. Even when broken, however, it can sense the spells and will alert her (very faulty as she was essentially too lazy to fix sloppy spellwork). Lastly, the armor is also able to rotate and is very breathable so that she can still shift and look around while wearing it, possibly the most important part.
