( I wasn't sure how to start this up- So I would think everyone would just do their own descriptions of a day starting in their clans? )

Blood stretched out his cherry-red wings, gazing out of the caves exit as a grin spread across his features, giving him a ghoulish, toothy smile. He looked down upon the lands he had claimed as his own with great pride, and he watched the lands closely, wondering what exactly the day would bring his clan. 'Twas a new day for the Aragon, a new day filled with new things that could happen, which Blood hoped would all be good things. He started to recall how the Aragon even came to be, and he couldn't help but let out a dark, evil chuckle as he recalled the blood-bath that made even the most hardened warriors among his ranks quiver with fear.. Oh how he would relish telling that story to his offspring, he could only imagine how proud they'd be. Though, after a few moments, Blood stopped thinking about this, going back to focusing on what had to be done for today. Soon he took flight, soaring down to the earths, taking his time to get to the clearing as he wished to watch the lands a bit more before he got to work. Finally, he landed down, taking in a breath of the air, the scent of pine trees a now comforting one to him. Soon, he spotted a commander of his ranks whom was approaching him, seemingly proud and feeling accomplished of the early gathering of supplies. " Sir, we have just returned from the days gathering. " The younger candy-colored dragon said, his tone seemingly filled with pride about what had been brought back. The dragon was covered in mud and cobwebs, seemingly from digging and scavenging in caves.
Blood looked to the male inquisitively, trying to figure out what had caused this bright mood. Not that he disliked when his clan was happy.. but most days they were worked to the bone due to trying to clear out the area, and make the lands safer for it's inhabitants. Finally, Blood spoke in a rather gruff and dark tone, almost menacingly. " Take me to what has been gathered today, hopefully it shall prove useful. ", The candy-colored dragon bowed it's head and started to lead the red-scaled leader to the small pile of supplies brought back. Mostly food, some old jars holding a small amount of gold, though the jars seemed broken.. stone, some bones, a good amount of food.. but among the supplies was an egg, which would explain the good mood of the commander. " What is this? " Asked Blood as he nudged the egg gently, it seemed to shift a bit, clearly something was within it. " Well, Sir, we found that egg.. we weren't sure what use it could have to you, but we brought it back.. " He explained, and Blood nodded, " Take it to the nursery, I'll have Ariel sort through these supplies with Disasters help. Be sure to be gentle with it, Xander. " The leader teased playfully, which made the commander role his eyes, and gently take the egg to the nursery, likely to be cared for my one of the nesting females there.. so far, the day had been going quite well.

Blaire

This wasn't right. Something didn't feel right. Blaire's co-leader, Calliope, was gone, out on a diplomatic trip to make allies with a roaming Dunhoof clan. The Pearcatcher was always much better at this than she was. Blaire, well, she was lost. Thrust into a position she didn't quite think she was qualified for, because she had dared to demand better for everyone else? She was in charge of a clan of nearly seventy permanent members. It was terrifying during the best of days. She was scared to mess it up.

What would make her feel better would be a nice glide, or even a hunt. Yes, hunting always seemed to help. It wouldn't just be over her clan's territory, no. That was too familiar. That would remind her too much of the responsibility that weighed on her. Everything she did, everything she wore, even her familiar, was a reminder of her responsibility to her clan. She needed to escape it, if only for a moment.

She found Ilica, the kind Fae that served as her second in command. The Fae would need to know, at the very least.

"I'm going to hunt," she said to her friend, quietly. "I need a moment to collect myself while Calliope's gone. Don't tell Zyre, he never appreciates my solo hunts."

Zyre was her hunting partner. Well, they were actually a trio, with Calliope. That was how they'd won control. The unfortunate thing was that Zyre wasn't too popular amongst the clan, leaving him with little power, other than training. Ilica nodded in response, saying nothing. That was typical. The Fae was the quiet type, always observing. That was partly why she made such a good second.

Blaire took to the skies, thinking for a moment, then picking a direction and flying off.

((I'm subbed to the thread, no need to ping me.))

Wraith had been flying for days north east, trying to make her way to the shadowlands on what her council liked to call, 'an ambassador's trip'. The Affiliation required allies, the last war they won left them with very little still living. Shadow dragons were always a willing ally in past times, she only prayed to the great Icewarden that things changed very little, or preferebly none at all.

Her wings ached, even faltered from time to time, but as she approached the edge of a territorial area she began to descend. Gliding gracefully to land, she gunted as her legs gave. The skydancer hadn't used them in days.

Choosing to stay a moment, she pulled out a small crystal from her bag, and held her snout close to it.

"Send message." She paused, "I arrived. Proceeding to negotiate. End message." Laying there for a moment to gather herself, she grunted as she pushed her weight up. The ice dragon's clear gaze studied the misty forest, scanning the fog for any movement. The scent of dragons was present, albiet feint.

This must be the border. She thought, taking a breath and stepping forward. I didn't bother to remember what this Clan must've been called. How silly of me. Whatever. Wraith gave off nothing but agitated energy, but kept prim and to herself as she began her second part of the mission.

@ CrypticMeaning you can join in on the action in The Aragon if you'd like xp )

At this current, Blood had just finished sorting through the supplies that had been gathered up today and was reviewing the supplies once again, accompanied by the smaller, mint-colored fae dragon named Ariel. " This seems like a rather good haul. " Chirped the fae with glee, seeming to very much be pleased with this. " I reckon we can do even better tomorrow. " Replied the red-scaled guardian, " Luckily for us, I can make today's supplies even more plentiful when Sakura and Xander are ready, we are to head out for a hunting party. "
The Fae nodded, though she disapproved of these hunting parties.. she hated the thought of those poor creatures being hurt, but she didn't say anything for she knew they needed to hunt and collect supplies to live. " Well, hopefully it all goes well, if you find any flowers, please bring them for me! You know how I adore flowers. " Blood couldn't help but to chuckle at this, " Yes, I quite remember how much you like them.. I'll be sure to retrieve some for you. Along with some new furs to line the nursery. " He said with a wide, toothy grin. " Oh you never cared about keeping it extra warm till you heard your clutch was laid, now you want it to be as safe, warm, and comfortable as possible. " The fae said teasingly, though Blood nodded in agreement. " I want only the best for my young. "

There was a clan deep within the Wood who were advertising that they wanted allies. Allies were always something that the Clan of the Twisting Lights could use more of since they brought in trade, valuable information, and defense in times of trouble. However, sometimes these meetings could get... aggressive at times so she had learned years ago to always bring along good, strong back up in case of emergencies. Beside her walked one of Electra's most trusted protectors. Thialle was a large and talented imperial when it came to combat. She enjoyed fighting and was very competitive when out hunting for the clan. Spade, another imperial, strutted happily on the other side of Electra. He was a retired coliseum fighter who mostly enjoyed fishing on the tropical island called Windstar in the Sea of a Thousand Currents that the clan had recently purchased. Electra had asked him to come on this sojourn because of his proximity to the Tangled Wood and because her other best lieutenant, an older guardian named Benthic, was busy supervising the new underwater territory of Rivereth. Near the rear of the group walked a silent and stoic reddish-blue guardian wearing a strange combination of armor and flower leis. This was Electra's mother, one of the legendary founders of the clan, Alecto. Alecto never spoke much anymore, preferring to listen rather than to contribute, but she often joined her daughter during these expeditions so that she could protect her if necessary. As for ambassadors, there was Electra's brother Rama, a shadow tundra born into the clan when they had lived for a short time in the Tangled Woods at Willow House, and the ringmaster Ezekiel, a strange skydancer that ran a travelling carnival in the Tangled Wood. There was also the warrior Harnora who knew this area of the Tangled Wood seeing as she had once been a member of one of clans in this area back when it was still ruled by those bloodthirsty barbarians. "Are we getting close Harnora?" Electra asked as they continued through the underbrush. The midnight-scaled, white-winged warrior stopped for a moment to look around. Her expression was grim. She did not like returning to this place. The old shame, guilt, and blood-lust was threatening to bubble back to the surface. The best thing in her life had been when she attacked Argent that fateful night several years ago. Argent had carried her all the way back to Twisting Lights in the Windswept Plateau unconscious. Electra almost didn't allow her to stay with the clan but Argent had stood up for her and then trained her out of the killing, bloodthirsty ways of her past. She owed Electra and Argent, which is why she had agreed to be the guide in this posse. She nodded, "Yes. If I remember right this should be the edge of the Aragon territory, though much has changed since I was last here." Ezekiel chuckled wickedly and licked his lips, "Excellent! Finely, some fresh blood!" Electra quickly glared at the skydancer, "Absolutely no blood magic is to be used on these dragons, Ringmaster." Ezekiel looked positively aghast at the accusation, "My Lady Electra, my fabulous crew and I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing." He bowed lowly in an overly dramatic, flashy way to her. "Good," was all Electra would say on the matter. Her voice was firm and unyielding. Her brother Rama took his staff and pointed to something etched on a tree nearby, "Perhaps this is what we have been looking for? It's a mark of some kind. It could be this clan's symbol." Harnora peered at the symbol closely before shaking her head, "It's not familiar to me but maybe it was put here recently after Argent had already brought me away from these lands." Thialle exchanged a look with Spade and then rolled her eyes, "But no one's here! How rude to put up notices wanting clan allies and then not even showing up." Spade grinned at her brightly while holding the edge of his white fedora, "There's one way we could get them out. Let's torch this place. That should grab their attention." "No, we'd be more likely to start a war than make allies if we did that," Electra scolded him quickly before she turned back to the direction where she believed the clan's territory continued on and added, "We will wait here for now until someone approaches." Whew, that's my introduction into this! Hope the cast of characters isn't intimidating. @Espenfalls you did want it to be realistic and the Clan of the Twisting Lights does canonically have over 450 dragons spread out across its territories so we have the resources to put a party like this together when it comes to meeting other clans. They won't be aggressive unless some else becomes aggressive to them. The large number of dragons is more a precaution than anything. An important note, Electra will not just walk into you clan unannounced so if we want to get some interaction going then someone will have to come out to meet them. Also, fun side note: The imperial Harnora was originally born into a clan that was ruled by a tyrant known as Zadicus, "The Mad King." He was basically exactly how you described this:
The Aragon was once a land once inhabited by horribly cruel dragons, Blood was born into these lands. The dragons that first lived in these lands were incredibly callus, slaughtering anything they deemed weak, even if it was their own flesh and blood. They were known throughout the lands of shadow as very wicked dragons, and very prideful also, most of them with scales as black as night, and eyes filled with cruel intentions.
So I just assumed the area of her old clan was near where Blood was originally from. Should make for some interesting interactions between her and Blood hehe. @CrazyRedEyes It's not intimidating at all! It was just a lot of reading xp I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with such large reply writing in return- Also I like that idea! It is cool how the stories can intertwine )
Xander alongside Sakura had finally got ready for the days adventure, they all seemed excited to go out today and bring back new supplies to help the small kingdom more. Blood was also ready for a challenge today but at the same time, it was more then a challenge he wanted. He couldn't wait for a blood-filled battle, though not much of the blood would come from him luckily. Just as they were about to head out, the newly appointed scout, Loreheart, had come flying in with news. " There is some unknown dragons at the edge of the territory! " He said, and already Sakura and Xander were annoyed with the fae.. though he'd done nothing wrong, they simply disliked him as much as the kingdom did at this point for various reasons. Blood looked over to the scout, " How many of them? "He asked, and the dark-scaled fae replied swiftly after the question was asked, " Eight of them, sire. " He said, and Blood nodded, " Do they look to be threat to my lands? " He asked, already a slight growl bubbling in his throat... no one would hurt his lands, not now or ever. " No, Sire, they seem peaceful.. perhaps here in search of becoming our allies? " He said, and that calmed the red-scaled dragon down enough to not just get more dragons ready for a fight. " That is great! We should go meet them! " He said excitedly, as intimidating as he was.. He could also be a ball of energy, he loved making friends... so long as they didn't do anything to the lands he wouldn't approve of.
" Sir, we should go get reinforcements just in case. " Suggested Xander, while he doubted those dragons meant any harm to them, he still was wary. He knew Blood was much more likely to not be so guarded if he found a situation to be safe, as the commander it was his duty to keep all the dragons here including the king safe from any harm. " Why would we need that? If they are here to be allies, we need not scare them. " He said, making Xander sigh softly, " And if they aren't here for that? " It was then it clicked back into place for Blood, and to add to this, made him realize he had much to lose if they weren't. " Send for Dagger and Disaster, they shall be accompanying us. " He said before he turned to Loreheart, " You shall also come with us.. we should have all the dragons at the ready who are able to fight. " Loreheart nodded, though in a timid fashion.. He had retired from the coliseum, and fighting in general. He may have been a young dragon but he was not as... ready to fight as the other dragons here.
In the meantime Xander had rushed off, getting both Disaster, a pale white dragoness with blue markings scattered over her, and Dagger, a red dragon with a white piebald, and also the only council member of the kingdom at this current moment. The second Dagger heard he was needed by Blood he rushed off to his side, he should of been there since this morning but.. He was with his mate, watching over their eggs. " Hey Blood! " Said the piebald-guardian happily. " Where are we off to? " He asked, and Blood replied with, " Off to make some new friends.. hopefully. " Dagger didn't like the idea of new friends, because he knew that Blood could mean a few things by that but he stayed silent and simply nodded. Soon, Disaster was with them to, " Alright, I think we have everyone, let's go. " He said, and Blood started leading the small group of dragons out, though both Xander and Sakura stayed behind the group, hiding themselves in the trees.. if this was a group of dragons looking for a fight, they'd ambush the ones that got past the group.
As they walked towards the area, it was clear Blood was worrying.. not because of a fight, he loved to fight.. it was because of his mate back in the camp, if this was a fight she might be hurt, alongside their eggs, and that made him incredibly jumpy, and quick to react. Dagger tried to calm him, but to no avail, it was clear Blood was already more then ready for a fight if need be it, but he was still hopeful that this was friends, not foes.

Thaille smirked at the older imperial and her voice was smug, "You'd better not let anyone slip by, old man." Spade burst into laughter and wagged his eyebrows playfully at her, "I should be telling you the same thing. Didn't you let me slip by several times in the past?" "Ha! That's only because you were so attractive at the time," Thaille huffed in a mock, aristocratic way. The old coliseum fighter's expression turned wicked and he snatched her wrist with the tip of his tail and pulled her so they were nearly chest to chest. His white fedora was nearly covering his eyes as he leaned closer to Thaille with that same fox-like grin. "At the time," he said snorted before his grin widened, "Admit it, babe. You still find me attractive." Thaille's eyes narrowed but her smile was challenging as she whispered, "Maybe a bit." Then she secretly used her tail to find his hind leg and applied pressure to a specific pressure point that sent him sprawling away from her. Her laugh was light and her eyes twinkled happily, "But you'll have to do better than that, old man." Spade laid on the ground and stared up at Thaille as if her games made her even more attractive (which they did) to him. He was about to reply with something snarky when Electra cut them both off. "That's enough you two. I didn't ask you both to come here so you could reignite your previous relationship," Electra's voice was professional as she exchanged glances with both of them, "Keep the flirting to the hibernal Den. We have a job to do here." Spade flipped himself into a standing position and grinned sheepishly, "Sorry 'bout that, miss. I couldn't help myself." Thaille rolled her eyes at him but nodded seriously to Electra, "We'll secure the perimeter." With that, the two imperials melted into the trees with a combination of stealth and camouflage magic. Rama watched them leave and then raised an eyebrow, "Perhaps bringing them both along wasn't the best idea?" Electra shook her head, "They'll do their job. They just needed a reminder." The Ringmaster Ezekiel had watched the exchange between the two old flames with mild interest but now that they were gone he grinned darkly, "Have those two always been that hot for each other?" Electra really didn't want to continue this conversation, especially with the Ringmaster but she shrugged briskly, "More or less." "They make me long for my dear Hezuna, now that pearlcatcher was a dame unlike any other," The Ringmaster reminisced in a dreamy voice. The dark tundra took his staff and whacked the skydancer on the back of the head, "Focus you blood-blending parasite, this is no time to be reminiscing about old girlfriends." "Ack!" Ezekiel cried and skirted back from the bite of the tundra's staff. The Ringmaster didn't fear Electra like he did her brother. Rama was the chief of Willow House, a territory of Twisting Lights located in the Tangled Wood further north of this land. Willow House served as the head quarters for the Ringmaster's crew when they weren't travelling and performing. Rama had the power to evict Ezekiel and his troupe. He bit back a snarl but did not respond. Harnora and Alecto had been the only silent dragons up until this point and for good reason. Electra had set Thaille and Spade to watch the perimeter since they were the most skilled fighters in the group aside from her mother.

Thaille smirked at the older imperial and her voice was smug, "You'd better not let anyone slip by, old man."

Spade burst into laughter and wagged his eyebrows playfully at her, "I should be telling you the same thing. Didn't you let me slip by several times in the past?"

"Ha!

You still find me attractive."

Blood had also seen the group of dragons ahead, and his tail thrashed side to side for a moment be he calmed himself, more so because Dagger nudged his side which startled him a bit, and not because he didn't think they were a threat. He didn't look fearful, though, mostly because he had seen that while they'd be a challenge indeed, that they wouldn't be able to get through his group easily.. that and he wasn't afraid for himself. In fact, he looked more fearsome at this point, more so due to the fact his scales were as red as blood, and his body littered with scars from abuse in his younger years, and from battles as he aged.
As he got closer, he raised his wings ever so slightly from their folded position, which made the dragons following him stop, as this was a signal to stop. He stayed a small ways away from the group in front of him, and he spoke, " Salutations, I assume you are friends and not foes? " Asked the red-scaled dragon, watching the group with a careful eye, as though watching for even the slightest movement of aggression, and though his stance looked relaxed at first glace, if one looked closer to the placement of his claws, he looked more then ready to battle if it so came down to it, but he was quite good at hiding this, as he didn't want to frighten them off if they had no bad intentions.
Meanwhile, behind him, his group was speaking silently, though it was mostly Disaster and Dagger speaking with one another. " Do you think we'll have to fight? " Asked the white-scaled dragoness, and Dagger shook his head, " No, we won't fight here.. they look more prepared for business, not for getting their claws dirty. " Said Dagger as he studied the group with curiosity, " I think they are here to become our allies, not our enemies, they'd of brought more if this was a battle.. " He said, and Disaster nodded in agreement, what Dagger said made sense, but at the same time she understood why Blood was still on edge.. Well, she knew part of the reason, she had thought he was just being territorial due to his first clutch being laid, and less for deeper reasons.

( So, I had an idea since you pointed out Harnora came from a place similarly to Blood- What if she had seen him and/or knew of him at some point? Maybe they aren't from the same place, but since the groups were similar they might've interacted at some point? )

She stood slightly in front of Electra and Rama as silent as death but her silver armor shined dimly in the light of nearby glowing mushrooms. Thaille and Spade were just as silent in their hiding spots as they watched the confrontation closely. Electra's eyes darted to the dark red guardian who spoke in greeting. She looked him up and down. He was light on armor but he looked strong and he was much bigger than herself. This wasn't uncommon. Most guardians were larger than Electra, but it never bothered her. It only made her fight harder to protect what she had. However, she was no pushover either. Electra had battle training and although she was not as skilled as her mother, she could defend herself if she had too. Her voice was steady and diplomatic, "That depends on you, I'm afraid. My name is Electra and I am the leader of this clan." Harnora watched the exchanged but when the blood-red male spoke, her eyes grew suspicious. There was something about him that seemed familiar. Then her eyes widened and she stepped up in front of Electra and growled, "You! I know you... Blood of the Aragon." Her expression darkened as she held her blade threateningly in defense of her commander Electra, "I thought you were dead but here you are. What sort of trickery is this?" Harnora was born into a clan where the King ruled like a tyrant over most of the dragons in his domain but he would periodically favor a hatchling from one of the lower families and offer that hatchling a choice. They could either join his militia and become one of his mercenaries (a high and respected position for someone who had been born to the lowest of the low) or choose freedom from the clan (but "freedom" meant the hatchling would be dumped on the clan's borders alone with nothing--basically a death sentience.) Even though her family wanted her to choose freedom (because the lower dragons despised and hated Zadicus's militia), Harnora was too proud to say no to the offer. She wanted the glory and the respect. She was tried of being treated like dirt. So she was trained and brainwashed by the king into becoming a ruthless hunter warrior. She was fairly elite and gained a reputation for the trail of dead left in her wake. During those years, she enjoyed the thoughtless killing, endless banquets, and countless crusades. But she was always just a means to an end and finally, during an unwise ambush on a neighboring (and stronger) clan, many of Zadicus's elite fighters fell in battle and were left for dead. Harnora was among these dragons but she didn't die immediately. Eventually a dragon name Argent found her and stuff happened and Harnora was brought back to Twisting Lights and was basically unbrainwashed. Maybe the clan that won the battle that day against Harnora's side was the clan Blood originally came from lol.
