Backstory: Zane was basically raised away from society with his mother and brother. He was considered a "wild" shapeshifter, in which did take the place of an animal in some way. Just like any "animal" he was kicked out of his home when he was exactly fifteen. He then just lived a normal life in the woods, and in the city occasionally. Not much is revealed about him since he really doesn't like to talk about his past.

Heavy rain created a gray mist around the buildings. Cars were slowly going by despite some people honking. Holding the umbrella above her Dawn helped create some space along with Bramble. The SUV she owned had enough space for two more people, but she was glad to have only two come along this trip. "So you can pass the snacks right?" Dawn asked. Bramble sighed "Yes Dawn. I won't eat all your weird packets." Giggling she left the dragon to sorting some stuff and waited for the other person to come.

Zane padded through the forest floor, sniffing around for any potential prey. He climbed up a log and scanned the area. it was unusually quiet today... he hummed and turned back into his human form. It was easier to scan the area this way... His eyes snapped when he saw a mouse scuttling through the forest floor. Bingo! He quickly turned back into a fox and chased after it, eventually pinning it down on the ground and killing it with one swift bite. He then, happily laid down and started eating his prey in between his paws.

But it'll still be a fun trip regardless!" She stayed cheerful even though slightly disappointed. As the other girl closed the door Dawn drove off into the road. Both of pass the time chatting and listening to the radio. It took a couple of hours to get far from the city. Finally on the open road she sped up. "Uh Dawn is that going to blow the engine?" Bramble asked noticed how fast they were going. "It's fine! This car isn't that-" Staring at the gas slowly going down she quickly went to a rugged road into the forest. Stopping she turned the vehicle off and got out. Bramble got out as well to see what the trouble was. Dawn groaned as she lift the hood and checked everything "It looks fine. Maybe gas of the battery went out?".

When he was done with his meal, he padded away rather happily. Now, he could just relax and take a little walk. The forest was beautiful, as usual. The birds were singing and everything seemed to be fine. That was, until a vehicle popped out of nowhere and almost ran him over. He was lucky to be alive, but he didn't know what to do. He was currently under the vehicle and lowering his body to the ground in a crouched pose. It wasn't long before the vehicle was turned off and feet appeared on the ground. He flattened his ears, growling. He backed away from the feet and neared the back of the vehicle to run away from these people.

Zane growled when he was taken from under the vehicle. He squinted at the figures, and attempted to bite the hyena who was holding him up in the air. His eyes darted around the place, seemingly acting like a wild animal. He didn't like being picked up, and he certainly did not like being nearly ran over.

"A fox?" Dawn was a little surprised. Bramble snarled as she held the fox under her arm and had her hand over it's mouth "It almost bit me! Don't know why it was under the car!" Taking a minute to think Dawn looked directly at the fox "Sir. If you don't calm down my friend will dispatch you. Meaning she will kill you. We both don't want that right." Bramble was trying to think of something else as Dawn used her soothing voice to calm the fox.
