My friend and I have been working on a story for the past year and a half, and I've been itching to give it some AUs. This RP is an adventure/slice of life RP, where around 40-50 percent of the world's population posess between 1-3 magical powers. Anti-Power Extremists often try to get in the way.

Backstory: Aria, also known as Shiva, has escaped from India and arrived in Boston, where the story takes place. She has a power that causes massive damage to the earth itself, and the extremists are now aware of it. Fearing her life, Aria fled from the areas of the city she often frequented, and her fellow students of the Churcill Acadamy for the Power-Born are looking throughout the city, desprate to find her before the extremists do.

Notes about character creation
-You may play a powerless person, but they cannot go to the school, as it is exclusively for power-born teenagers.

-The characters should be between the ages of 14 and 19, but if they skipped grades or were held back, that's okay.

-Try not to have really overpowered abilities (invincibility, instant kills, and the like)

-There are many exchange students at Churchill Acadamy, so I added a "Languages spoken" and "native country" catagory

Powers (if any):Her first ability I call "Zombie". She can revert into a zombie-like state. She enjoy's using it as a scare tactic, but it also works as a healing agent for her. When she has taken damage in zombie form then shifts into her regular form, she has only small cuts and scrapes. (Of course, she can still die if any would is fatal, but she can reattach her arm,if it gets chopped off.) Her second ability is called "Voodoo Zombie". This allows her to raid the dead of animals and only three at a time, she can see and hear everything they can and uses this on birds or mice mostly. The main reason for the birds is it gives her multiple angles to look at her opponent and see their moves. Mice are small and can get anywhere, they are good for recon. Eahc zombie only lasts a few hours though, longer times for smaller animals and shorter times for larger animals. Biggest she's ever raised was a bear once.

Appearance: Can be found in jeans of varying colors with some sort of nerdy t-shirt or one from a series she enjoys. It's usually tucked into her jeans and slightly baggy (like a size too big). She has brown chin length hair and hazel eyes. She stands at an even 5'00 height.
Personality: She is goal orientated, which makes her stubborn. She is smart and loves a challenge but can sometimes be unmotivated or even lazy. If you are her friend, she is loyal to the end.
Any other interesting information:
She found out about her zombie mode when kissing her ex-boyfriend but knew about the Voodoo Zombies. She is always working on increasing her abilities and finding an offensive use for them.

Name: Victor DeBlanc
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Powers (if any): Manipulation of sand. He has to have
sand around for it to work.
He can speak with animals, allowing him to get some extra help when needed.
He has a pet mouse who helps him gather information. No one at the school
knows he has it, and it can be often found sitting on the back of his
neck, behind his hair. Its name is Chérie.
Native Country/State: Canada (Ontario area)
Languages Spoken: French and English
Appearance: Victor has Klinefelter syndrome, which makes him
slightly feminine in appearance. He's very skinny and stands around
5'08", and is oftentimes bullied by the other guys for his slight
breast growth and short-ish stature. He has shoulder-length black hair,
which is never put back due to Chérie sitting beneath it, and silvery eyes.
Personality: Victor is the type to hide his emotions, oftentimes
finding a quiet place to let it out when the bullying gets to him.
He lives by the motto "Suck it up and Drive On", so he has a reputation
for standing his ground and going forward, even when he probably shouldn't.
He doesn't care anymore if anyone calls him a girl, whether by accident or on purpose,
and often likes to see how long it takes for people to notice that he's a man.
He can be very impatient, sometimes running blindly into things unless someone
else stops him.
Any other interesting information: He likes hanging out above the ceiling
tiles at school during breaks, and will listen in on conversations. So far,
he's never been caught doing it.

Name: Solas Correo (Nicknamed 'Angel' or, more rudely, 'Birdman')
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Powers: He can extend a pair of giant sapphire-blue wings and is actually able to fly with them. In the halls he keeps his wings either folded or hidden (he is able to make his wings fold further and shrink to about four inches long, hiding them easily under a sweatshirt). He never allows anyone to make physical contact with his wings, not even teachers. The wings don't seem to have bones in the typical sense, able to move freely and curl around things if he wishes.
He can heal many injuries and remove infection by wrapping his wings around himself (to self heal) or the other person (to heal them). His wings are also very strong and he can use them to fly, or bludgeon someone.

Languages Spoken: English, Irish (he was curious lmao he has no ties to the UK or to Ireland he was just bored and taught himself)
Appearance: Dark hair, just about average height- maybe a little bit taller, eyes the same color as his wings if slightly less intense, perfectly groomed sapphire wings.
Personality: Protective (of his wings, mostly), friendly, curious, and kind when he can be.
Any other interesting information: He has some interesting stories to tell, if you ask and he feels like it.

Name: Jezabel (Nickname: Jez) Matthews

Gender: Female
Powers (if any): Can turn into any animal (including mythological) and can speak to animals when in human form.
Native Country/State: Kentucky, USA
Languages Spoken: English
Appearance: 4'11'', with medium length brown hair and startlingly turquoise eyes. In all of her forms, she has the same eyes. She often wears a t-shirt, and jeans or leggings. You will almost never find her in a dress.
Personality: Inquisitive, intelligent, adventurous, kind, athletic.
Any other interesting information: Loves animals, and one day wants to be a vet. She also rides horses, and has won several shows. Not surprising as she's from Kentucky. She has a southern accent. Birthday is May 15.

Solas landed behind the school and folded his wings, shrinking them down to about four inches long. The slits in the back of his shirt were made so that his wings would fit through when they were small, and they would fit snugly around the base of his wings when he wanted to use them. Very convenient, really. He slipped his sweatshirt over his head and walked around to the front, standing by the door and waiting for a teacher to come unlock it. And, I'm locked out again. Why do they always forget to unlock the dang door on time?

A small bird with turquoise eyes landed on the ground next to Solas, before changing into a 14 year old girl. "You're late," She observed. "The teachers aren't here yet, which is why the door isn't unlocked-" She broke off as she appeared to hear something, before dismissing it as nothing. She was on edge today, as school should have started 15 minutes ago, but the doors were still locked.

Victor waited by the front door, wanting to meet his history professor when she arrived. When no one came to unlock the door, he walked around to the back, seeing the others. He remembered Solas from class, but hadn't seen the other girl before. "Do you guys know what's up?" He asked them, watching the door aimlessly. He tucked his uniform shirt further into his pants, as if that would fix his problems. "I guess we wait til the others come."

Jezabel looked at Victor. "School should have started 15 minutes ago, but none of the teachers are here yet. Do you think something's wrong?" She seemed apprehensive as though she knew that something was wrong, but didn't want to admit it to herself.
