It had been a long time since the clan of ashfall alliance met with some old friends, but Aster and Ranna had travelled to meet with the clan. Though as they arrived, Aster sat by the entrance when Ranna saw a dragon waving her over. Hesitantly, she approached the dragon and looked at her. "Hello?" She asked shyly.

West trotted up to her "the delegates are here!" she shouted loudly the imperial guard was gigantic and quite intimidating a tiny fae poked his head out from behind he antler "dont scare our guests!" the fae fluttered down in front of ranna "hello im pygmy sorry my girlfriend is a bit, loud! welcome to the academy!"

"Hello. My apologies for that... my mother is over there, we are to perform for your clan?" She asked quietly. Aster heard the yelling and walked over. "Hello, how are you?" She asked. "I hope you don't mind the early arrival."

a very young pantherlike mirror stuck his head out from another wall of sandstone and squeaked in surprised running away quickly into another tunnel.
the entire academy was carved into the heart of a sandstone spire with a large lightning catcher on top of it, lightning crackled several times a minute screaming overhead they stood on a grand entrance perch high above the ground it like the rest of the academy was carved from sandstone, but was adorned in many copper and wood enlayed metal arches with gears that seemed to turn with nothing to power them
Pygmy smiled "of course not! come right in before you get struck by lightning! West will stay and stand guard but I can take you to your chambers!"

"Ok. And chambers?" Aster asked. She had not expected her own chambers.... she looked at the fae. "Thank you again,.. what was your name?" She asked having not heard the introduction... Ranna was looking around curiously. She didn't know what was wrong or if anything really was wrong.

"we always have extra chambers here owing to our far reaches explorers staying away for months at a time! I am pygmy! I am the overseer here at the academy and the Son of aria!"

"It is nice to meet you." She said smiling. Aster looked at him and followed. "I believe monarch is from here no? Regulus translated the text he wanted to learn from." She said. Ranna was quiet and looked around the academy curiously as they walked.

"yes! luckily the manuscript was stabilized but, as punishment he had to be on house arrest for a month for doing what he did, sadly someone else got ahold of the manuscript when he returned and... well, oh why need we to discuss such sad topics!"
as they wandered down another elegant torchlined sandstone tunnel the same mirror poked his head out of a smaller tunnel that branched off he then gasped and ran the opposite direction
"that would be Sylvestris the duke! my nephew, hes very skiddish and not very formal! you will have to excuse him" said pygmy as he flew further down the tunnel they where traversing
