[i]A loose sheet of paper floats in front of you, landing there at your feet. You decide to pick it up, feeling the thin material crumble beneath your grasp. It appears to be an invitation, heavy with vibrant graphics and images that appear cluttered and hurt to stare at for too long. Near the middle, bright yellow text beckons your eye as it reads: [/i] [b][size=4] “Join us! Win $100,000 at our funhouse of challenges!”[/size][/b] [i] First you ridicule the foolish print, contemplating on just crumbling it up and tossing it. Though, something rises up in you that quickly makes you turn back and find the paper again. You realize you could really use the money.. and a few cute challenges wouldn’t hurt anyways. Who knows, you could win big! You glance at a map that is located on the back of the paper, along with a date. Highlighted is the exact address of the ‘funhouse’. You make up your mind to hold onto it and join in when the time comes. A small feeling of sudden fear crawls up your spine, but you dismiss it as nothing. Obviously the dream was a lot weirder than what I’m carving it out to be because my head is weird ahah. Basically your character is invited to this ‘Funhouse of Challenge’ that ends up being deadlier than meets the eye~ They have to get passed, well, challenges and obstacles before they lose the game and their life! It’s the type of fun you’d [i]die[/i] for!~ This roleplay will probably be storyline based.. so it will end somehow Before we get started with sign-ups and all that I wanted to discuss a few simple rules! (Some of this may be triggering. The triggering stuff isn't detailed but I'm noting this here just in case)
Appearance:He is about 5'10" and his build is more on the lanky side with slightly defined muscles. His skin is pale with pink undertones. His hair is naturally brown but he dyes it black and it falls forward over his hazel eyes. He has a sharp jawline and no facial hair. He has a septum piercing. Usually wearing jeans, vans, and some sort of graphic tee with a zip-up hoodie over top.

Personality:He is almost completely reserved with new people. His eyes are cruel and calculating, often "scaring" off any potential new friends or lovers. It takes a lot to get him out of his shell and not many have been able to. Despite that, he is very goofy and light-hearted with his younger sister (5) and brother (12). He has a dark sense of humor but also knows the entire Sofia the First theme song. He's very caring, gentle, and protective.

Strengths and Weaknesses:Strengths; He's had a tough past so teasing and bullying directed at him doesn't really affect him at all. He doesn't cherish his life for his benefit but because he wants to be able to keep his siblings safe. Weaknesses; He has little to no tolerance for physical pain past a certain point. His mom is an abusive druggy so anything to do with her is hard for him to handle. His siblings are a big weakness for him. And physically he has injured his left knee several times in sports, so it's not very stable.


Backstory: He lives in an apartment with his two siblings and their mom. She's an addict, so if she isn't asleep shes out of the house partying. He supports all four of them, juggling two part-time jobs and school. He takes care of his siblings and drives them to school every day, doing his best to make sure they never suffer like he did as a child. He is treated poorly at school but manages to get passing grades. He wants to save up enough money to move into a different home with his siblings, so he figures giving the funhouse competition a try couldn't hurt.

i noticed the lil 'species' part on the form and i was wondering if it was ok if my character is only half-human? rn im playing around with the idea of a half-human half-fire spirit :0

All I ask is they are mostly human in shape ^^ So if they fit that category then it’s ok!
