It was a beautiful morning in Hollowglen Town. A Rookidee named Lance was hopping about the town square, on his way to the Job Board. Once he found it, he begun to search for any missions involving outlaws that could've been posted. He was looking for these missions in particular so he could at least prove to the police chief, Manectric, that he was worthy of joining the Hollowglen Police Force. Unfortunately, he couldn't find any, but he figured that that was pretty reasonable anyway, since it wasn't like crime was being committed every second of the day.

Lance decided to leave town for a minute to just train against wild Pokémon or something. Once the Rookidee got somewhat far from town, he noticed something that was.... definitely out of the ordinary. Several Pokémon were in the field, a majority of whom were unconscious. Some of them looked pretty normal, but most of them looked strange for their species in one way or another. The first ones Lance was able to notice were a caped Espurr with green fur, and a Meowth with fluffy silver fur who was wearing some sort of trenchcoat, among others.

"Hey," he chirped at them, "Are any of you guys ok?"

Terra was beginning to wake up in a field, no idea where she was or how she got here. All she did know was that there were a bunch of strange creatures around her, and she wasn't feeling quite.... herself. She looked down at her hands, which were now...... paws? And a talking bird was trying to get the attention of her and the others.......... Eventually, she looked over at the bird, and after realizing that he was making sure that they were all ok, she nodded at him..

She entered a feild, elegant head turning towards some pokemon that were talking. Some seemed odd, just like her.

He fluttered over the field, spiraling down towards a small group.
"You all ok?"

Soft... small... warm. As he always knew he was... she was. She uncurled herself from her sleep, stretched out her little paw beans... oh, it felt so good to have paw beans again!! And a tail! As the Litten awoke, she noticed someone... familiar... same minty-colored fur, same eyes, same general aura of softness...

"Terra! Hi! It's so good to see you again!" Sabine bounded over to Terra, practically glowing with excitement. "Never thought I'd see you here..."

Terra... seemed surprised at this, as she did a smol mrrp.

"Wait... Sabin.....? You're here too?"

"How'd ya know it was me? I mean, I'm a cat... and you're a cat... and Setzer's over there and he's a cat... and I'm 99.9% sure if Edgar were here he'd be a cat..."

Terra just smiled at Sabine while giving her a quick head pap, while Lance attempted to wake up any newcomers who were not awake yet.

Presently, Darill came padding out of the nearby undergrowth to meet these new strangers. There hadn't been much to do around the sleepy town of Hollowglen, other than just wander about and wait for a willing flying-type to take her for a fly. But even then, they'd refuse to let her land for fear that she, a "small and helpless Eevee" would die in the wild.

Among the dozing newcomers was a Meowth who resembled... an old friend. Eventually curiosity got the best of her and she booped him on the nose.

Terra just....... tilted her head in a confused manner, as Setzer opened one of his eyes. Lance had flown about a couple feet away from the Meowth to allow Darill to go commit activate cat
