“Alright everyone,” Sapphire called out, tapping her claw on the rock below her for the young dragons’ attention. When she was sure they were listening, she began, “Good morning. My name is Sapphire, and I’ll be your teacher for this year.”
The dragons in front of her were all sorts of breeds and colors; pretty much the only thing they all had in common was their age. They were young adolescents, around the ages of 14 to 16.
“Let’s start with introductions. When I point to you, please stand and state your name.” the Fae continued to the many young dragons laying on the grass in front of her. They were not too far from Silver Sky Academy; in the middle of a clearing surrounded on three sides by a forest.
Sapphire pointed first to a pale pink-white Guardian dragon in front of her. “Please start us off.”
The Guardian got to her talons and turned to the rest of the congregation. “I’m Pearl,” she said, smiling at them.
Sapphire nodded and pointed to the next dragon.
