But even after it still haunts you, you find it kind of interesting? This is a roleplay for you to experiment with the creatures your brain made up to scare you, or not. You can definitely join just to have fun. ----- [center][font=garamond][i][size=6][u]Plot[/u][/size][/i][/font][/center] You’re all insane. [i]They had said. [/i]Complete psychopaths.[i] They would show them... A secret military compound had separated from the rest to work on their project. It had to be finished, they had to show them... Months past, and finally, it was successful. A truly frightening creature, horrific enough to make any of their enemies run away in terror. But they weren’t satisfied. One after another, more creatures began to take form. Blinded by their pride, the workers did not realize exactly what they were doing. CA-1 (commonly referred to as “Webcrawler”), their first creation, escaped. No one was prepared... except one. Quinten Corley was probably the only one who felt a slight bit of unease, so he built a failsafe. It was a serum to be administered into the monsters that would permanently tear apart their code. But he himself could not get close enough to kill Webcrawler, he couldn't even get to the drawer that he hid it in before he became its first victim. It hunted them all, covered the exits with webs, and freed the rest of the monsters. Blood splattered the walls and bodies hung from the ceiling wrapped in webs. The nightmarish creatures ruled the facility... thank everything for their obliviousness to the outside world. [center][b]...[/b][/center] [i]A few years later, some curious high school students hear rumors about a “haunted military facility”, and foolishly go to check it out. They pull the webs clear of the entrance, flashlights in hand, unaware of the horror they are stepping into.[/i] ----- [center][font=garamond][i][size=6][u]Rules[/u][/size][/i][/font][/center] -Keep swearing to a minimum. If your character wants to swear, please censor it. -Violence is allowed, but not so much that we get taken down. This rp has a lot of potential to get gorey, but just don't go into too much detail. -No powerplaying. -No killing another person's character without their permission. -Tell me about the worst nightmare you've had in your character sheet so I know you've read the rules. -No [i]totally[/i] overpowered characters. Monsters can be powerful, but don't make them gods. Give them a weakness of some sort. -Only two monsters per person. No limit for the humans, add as many kiddos as you want. -Keep in mind that all of the monsters are creations of science, they were made in the lab. They cannot have been made through magical means or be of an otherworldly origin. -Some monsters can be highly territorial of the section they belong to. Other monsters can't just hop between sections as they please, not unless they're looking for a fight. ----- [center][font=garamond][i][size=6][u]Map[/u][/size][/i][/font][/center] The facility is hidden underground. The entrance is disguised as an old military bunker, hidden by foliage. The LA computer is for security cameras on this floor, and the LB computer is for both of the monster levels below, but these are both cracked and useless. The monitors on the side of the room, on the other hand, are for tracking the monsters on the section they are assigned to. The A, B, C, D, E, F, G, I, S, U, X, and Z monitors, although cracked, are still able to work if someone gets the electricity working. All other rooms on this level are meant for boarding of scientists who worked late and needed to stay overnight (some of their belongings are still left behind in some of the rooms), aside from the nursery which houses a monster from the F-wing. The elevator is broken but will still open if the doors are pried hard enough, although it is not safe to be standing in anymore. Age: 15
Personality: Although she is notably very shy, she is incredibly brave. Tracy is definitely more thick-skinned than she might seem at first glance. She is known to be very brutally honest at times when she does speak. She is not a very friendly person; although she followed along with peer pressure when it came to this adventure into the woods, she's not really friends with any of the people that came along.
Appearance: She has short, dark brown hair a little bit above her shoulders. She wears jeans, but hates any kind of rip in clothing, and will throw it away if possible. She always wears blank colored shirts with a quote from a famous poet. Right now, she wears a light pink shirt with the quote “Tread softly because you tread on my dreams” on it.
Other:
-She can speak French.
-I played this girl in the first person in the worst nightmare I’ve ever had, the original story being her trying to protect her little sister from Webcrawler (he actually had no name in the dream) while she was babysitting her home alone.

Gender and Pronouns: No gender, but its voice sounds male (it or he/him)
Personality: He is a ruthless and bloodthirsty creature. He puts on a polite mask, but that’s all it is; a mask. He is intelligent and smooth-talking, and often takes his age as authority over his other monsters. He enjoys the thrill of the hunt a lot more than he lets on. Although he is very aggressive in the moment of the hunt, he is not very territorial; that said, he doesn't respect the territory of other monsters at all. He has been known to hunt the smaller monsters, but knows not to mess with the stronger monsters. He doesn’t understand the concept of remorse. In fact, there are a lot of emotions that he is still learning, and he doesn't understand any of them.
Appearance: He has a hard, smooth body, with a pointy, sharp spiked spine trailing down his back. He has four arms (two on his upper body, two on his hips) and two legs, all of them armored with pointed fingers with a very strong grip. He has two wings protruding from his shoulder blades which are shaped like insect wings, but are covered in artificial feathers and can only be used for gliding. His head is almost cylindrical, shaping into sharp points at the edges of his mouth, and he has spines coming of the top of head. His eyes are glassy and white.
Other:
-He stands on his back legs when he is speaking with someone, and stands on all six when hunting.
-He learned to speak by listening to the scientists.
-His voice is a grumbly bad impression of a man. It sounds suspiciously close to Quinten Corley's voice, not that that matters anymore.
-He makes webs through spinners in his hands on his top two arms, and they are extremely sensitive.
-This is a slightly altered description of the creature from my nightmare.

[b]Name:[/b] CE-1 (Soundtrack) [b]Human or Monster:[/b] Monster [b]Gender and Pronouns:[/b] They/Them [b]Personality:[/b] Rather scatterbrained for a monster. Due to its hearing and the antennae running along its back, there is constant sound running through their head and causes them to be distracted rather easily. Is also relatively… trusting? Gullible? Either way they don’t really stick to one side for very long and can be easily bribed by a variety of things like food and scratches. Doesn’t really care for killing anything that it can’t eat in one bite or that it can have a conversation with. Soundtrack is also not the sharpest tool in the shed and can get scared by just about everything (light, shadow and sounds) which is kind of strange for something that looks like it could easily shred you to pieces. The antennae toppers on his back were gifted to him by his caretakers before their death as a joke. The antenna can also be removed from Soundtrack, but it causes intense discomfort and irritability. They are capable of other noises but it only comes out as varying degrees of static. [*]Is capable of broadcasting sound from each of the stereos located along their body, and often does it on accident. This more often than not scares the crap out of them. [/LIST]

He is impulsive and when he wants to do something, he will stop at nothing to do it. He doesn’t really understand the concept of the law, he doesn’t actively want to break it he just doesn’t really stop and think before acting (as a result, he has ended up in juvie once before). He’s very enthusiastic about the things he likes, and if he likes a person he could come off as clingy, but it’s really just that he doesn’t bother hiding his feelings for someone. He also has his own philosophy that most people don’t understand, and the things he does make sense to him if not anybody else. They enjoy toying with people and they can spend days, even weeks, simply playing with their victim. They show a strong disdain towards being referred to as "it" or generally being misgendered, although they will often refer to their victims as if they were but a plaything. The Beetle enjoys hiding in the shadows as they observe their prey. [b]Appearance:[/b] Unlike their namesake the Beetle has a rather spindly appearance with 8 limbs of average human size, all of them being vaguely humanoid with 2 fingers and an opposable thumb. They have a beetle-like abdomen where they keep a pair of wings that are incapable of flight but can be used to create a more intimidating figure. The Beetle's head is similar to that of a beetle with 2 branching horns along with a more rhino-like horn situated on their forehead. The Beetle has 2 sets of eyes, the second, smaller pair being capable of seeing heat, making it easier for them to locate their prey. [b]Other:[/b] The Beetle is a durable creature, their exoskeleton being capable of enduring drastic changes in temperature, being capable of enduring both cold and warm climes without any troubles. They are also quite flexible, making it easy for them to get through smaller spaces. Personality:
Cautious and curious. The dancer is kind and helpful. It comes of as quite frightening but it hates the way it makes others feel. It strives for perfection and wishes everything were generic. (Everything should be identical.) those who spend time around it long enough to learn it’s mannerisms will find that it’s sorrowful. The creature finds itself disgusting.
When it becomes stressed, usually by filth or something it can’t change, it’s personality shifts. It becomes aggressive and will use a dangerous amount of force to change its surroundings and those who occupy it . After these periods it shows signs of regretting those actions.
Appearance:
The dancer is short. Around the same height as an average human but with smaller features. It’s skin is pale is almost translucent. Below this thin covering writhes the appendages of its victims, visibly pink from the outside. It’s face is blank besides four very small black eyes. It’s two arms are long and well muscled and it’s legs are the same. It has four legs but they are joined together in a way that they function as two. It’s feet and hands look stretched, it walks on its toes. It’s arms and legs are still bound together with chains from when it was being contained. Similar chains wrap broken around its neck and torso.
