Jace stepped the door, taking a breath before unlocking it. He must be first, meaning he gets first dibs. He strolled in, trying to find the rooms- which were separated for each person so he snagged the back left one. He set his stuff down beside the bed, before exploring the dorm room.

Blake had woken up a little late that day, so by the time he reached the dorm building with his stuff he was out of breath, and he paused briefly to adjust his mask. Today he was wearing a plain one that was light grey in color, with black spots around where he could see through the eye holes, and let himself catch his breath, before he eventually stopped when he found his dorm. He quickly notice that he was not the first to arrive, seeing as the door was apparently unlocked and had been left open a crack, meaning that his roommates - or roommates, he thought distantly - must've arrived shortly before he did. Frowning nervously, he inhaled slowly, holding his breath for a few seconds as he adjusted the bags on his shoulder before walking hesitantly into the dorm. "Hello..? Is someone here?-" He called out tentatively, shuffling his feet a bit as he made his way into the main room, which appeared to be a decent sized living room.

Jace had been in the kitchen, checking out the cabinets which were obviously empty but they had quite a bit of room. He poked his head out of the kitchen, "Hey Blakey! Did ye come to see me?" He said, flashing a cocky smile.

Blake was momentarily startled by the voice that responded back, but he settled once he realized it was only Jace and let out a quiet wheeze. "Gah- for pete's sake Jace, don't scare me like that..!" The words were a bit clipped but playing at a fond teasing tone as he spoke, then slowly shook his head sigh a tolerant sigh. "I came here to get my stuff set up.. is this your dorm too?" He tilted his head as he asked this, pausing to fix some hair that had fallen over the top of his mask before focusing on Jace again. Now that he was in view, he actually seemed to be quite tired (not counting the fact that he ran most of the way there); he seemed a bit more fidgety today as well, but it wasn't usually too concerning since that's how he usually was.

Jace closer, looking him up and down. "Well are you okay? I'm glad we're roommates and all but let's talk about that later- What's wrong?"
He had noticed his behavior and automatically assumed something was wrong, he walked over to his friend and smiled at him.

Rigel was the last to arrive. He and his family had actually walked around the campus for a while to get him familiarized with its basic layout, but eventually he had to go face whoever his new roommates would be.
"Bye, sweetie," his mom smiled, pulling him into a hug. "Don't overwork yourself, okay? Your health is most important. Then study. But only health is above study right now."
He laughed. "I know, Mama. I'll see you soon."
"You're not going to give your old man a hug?" his dad objected, grinning when Rigel rolled his eyes and hugged him too. Eden shot him fingerguns-they didn't really like hugs-and Devanshi hugged him from behind. "I'll see you later, bhaiya (older brother)!"

He murmured quietly after a moment, seeming to look everywhere except Jace's eyes as he shivered slightly. After a moment or so of him just standing there quietly, his right arm hugging his left arm to his side, he finally spoke again, hesitantly glancing at Jace with a frown. "... can I have a hug please...?" He asked quietly, seeming to shrink back a bit as the words sounded soft and weak, with a barely noticeable tremor in his voice.
However, he flinched at the sound of a new voice, briefly turning his head to glance at the door; he recognized it to be Rigel, and he seems to let out a relieved sigh as he replied back. "Yeah..! 's that you Ri? (a nickname for Rigel because why not)"

Jace happily pulled Blake into a hug, and to the person outside, "Door's open! Come on in!" Then he laid his head on blake, seeing as he IS shorter. He smiled towards the door due to the cuteness of the hug, but he did want to welcome his other new roommate

Blake almost immediately melts into the hug, letting out a shaky, tired sigh as he hugged Jace back and leaned his head down to bury his face in the other's shoulder. He huffed quietly when Jace responded to the voice at the door, but didn't seem to inclined of letting go at the moment, not wanting to end the hug just yet. However, he knew that Jace would want to welcome Rigel in, so after a moment or two longer he let go and took a step back, humming faintly as he glanced to the side shyly. "T-Thank you.. I kinda needed that honestly." His mask was pushed up just enough so that you could see the corners of his mouth curve into a faint ghost of a smile. Then he went and sat down on the couch, crossing his legs as he leaned back and hugged one of the pillows sitting by him; it was something he did a lot usually, sort of like a form of comfort, similar to how a security blanket would work for a child since he liked to hold things.
