[br][br] ------ [br][br] [center][b][size=5]ColiseumSkin & Accent Contest 2014[/size][/b][/center] This month we’re doing something a little bit different with our skin contest; rather than theming it after a flight, the theme is the coliseum and the monsters that live in each of its venues. This contest is for coliseum-exclusive items that will drop at a very rare rate: however, unlike holiday skin drops, these are long-term additions to the coliseum. No copyrighted characters). The use of texture is discouraged. Please do not watermark your contest submissions. Winning entries will become an official flight rising skin or accent, and may not be reused or reuploaded as a custom skin at a later date. Entries that are [b]not selected as a winner[/b] will still be eligible for being uploaded by the user as a custom skin or accent. You may enter up to two entries. [br][br] ------ [br][br] [center][size=5][b]Skin & Accent Rules & Reminders:[/b][/size][/center] A reminder to read the [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=skins]skin & accent creation rules[/url]. All entries must abide by these. [b]The exception and addition to the existing rules is that we are are requiring all [i]holiday contest accents[/i] cover a minimum of 5% of the dragon, and a maximum of 50%[/b] (this is a change from the custom accent rules, which state an accent may be 1%-30% - this rule still holds true for all non-contest accents.) Accents are recommended to be markings rather than apparel, which is provided through the festive favors shop. Here some additional reminders for skin rules: [LIST] [*]Skins must maintain an intact shadow and line art layer that are darker than the colors they sit on top of. [LIST][*]Do not erase into either of these layers. [*]Do not make them so light that they do not appear distinctly darker than the colors that they rest on top of.[/LIST] [*]Remember that skins and accents may not cover up line art or extend beyond the silouette of the dragon. [*]All submissions must be 350x350 png24 with transparency. Large previews are fine, but we need the correctly sized image for judging. Use these templates (and helpful tutorials) to assist you in creating your skin. To enter,[b] post a reply containing your entry[/b] in this thread, as well as specifying the venue and/or monster the skin is themed after. Please edit your original post and house your entries within the same reply to keep things tidy. Please [b]no post reservations[/b] (posting a claim slot without an entry. Winners will be decided in January, and winners will be contacted privately (though we will still make an announcement that the judging has completed, as we want for non-winning entries to be freed up if the creators want to sell them to other players instead!) Unlike a holiday skin contest, the winning entries will not be added to the site all at once: We will trickle them in over a period of a couple of months, in addition to our normal updates. While not against the rules, it is not recommended to enter a skin for a monster that already has one, as it will make winning very difficult. Accents may be submitted for monsters that already have a skin without worry. Many monsters in our coliseum do not have skins at all!
