The contest is for arcane themed skins & accents[/url] that will drop in the coliseum and stock in the treasure marketplace only during this holiday week (after which they will be retired.) [indent][b]Theme: [/b]The Arcane Flight and [url=http://www1.flightrising.com/wiki/world-map/region/9]Starfall Isles[/url] [b]Deadline: [/b] Thursday September 17th, 2015 23:59 server time [b]Format: [/b]350x350 png (png24) [b]Prizes: [/b]Winners will be credited in the tooltip of the skin, and will receive a copy of their winning skin, 1,500 gems, a forum vista and a 5-skin multi-copy-pack so they can craft more beautiful custom skin creations.[/indent] [center][img]https://flightrising.com/dropbox/gem_pile.png[/img] [item=Skin Blueprint (5)][/center] [br][br] ------ [br][br] [center][size=5][b]Restrictions:[/b][/size][/center] Entries must be your own creation (Submit your own art. No copyrighted characters). The use of texture is discouraged. Please do not watermark your contest submissions. Entries must be unique and may not be reprints or edits of custom skin items. Winning entries will become an official flight rising skin or accent, and may not be reused or reuploaded as a custom skin at a later date. (this includes edits) Entries that are not selected will still be eligible for being uploaded by the user as a custom skin or accent. [br][br] ------ [br][br] [center][size=5][b]Skin & Accent Rules & Reminders:[/b][/size][/center] A reminder to read the [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=skins]skin & accent creation rules[/url]. All entries must abide by these. [b]The exception and addition to the existing rules is that we are are requiring all [i]holiday contest accents[/i] cover a minimum of 5% of the dragon, and a maximum of 50%[/b] (this is a change from the custom accent rules, which state an accent may be 1%-30% - this rule still holds true for all non-contest accents.) Accents are recommended to be markings rather than apparel, which is provided through the festive favors shop. Here some additional reminders for skin rules: [LIST] [*]Skins must maintain an intact shadow and line art layer that are darker than the colors they sit on top of. [LIST][*]Do not erase into either of these layers. [*]Do not make them so light that they do not appear distinctly darker than the colors that they rest on top of.[/LIST] [*]Remember that skins and accents may not cover up line art or extend beyond the silouette of the dragon. [*]All submissions must be 350x350 png24 with transparency. Large previews are fine, but we need the correctly sized image for judging.
