Sorry if this is against this forum’s rules, I’m pretty new to the forums. I’ve really only used them one other time.
So I have a few questions regarding skins.
Would it be okay to make a skin designed to imitate some kind of gene? But it isn’t exactly like the gene, just similar. Like would it be okay if I made a skin that was very similar to the Starmap gene? Or one similar to the Ringlets gene?
In the skin rules it says you can’t make skins with guns in it. Would other weapons be okay? Like a sword or a bow and arrow? (I imagine these would be okay since I believe there’s some apparel like this but I figured I’d ask)
And if I were to make a skin partially inspired by a copyrighted character but not meant to copy it, such as using colors similar to the character or patterns inspired by the character, would that be okay?
I have some more but I can’t think of them right now, but I’ve been wanting to get into designing skins and I wanted some answers to these questions.
