There needs to be at least one other bipedal dragon breed. So far the Wildclaw is the only one. All other dragons are quadrupedal. Don't really care what it looks like, but think it's unfair that there is only the one breed.

Unfair to who? I feel it's one of the things that makes wildclaws unique

Yeah... I don't see how this is really unfair.

Pearlcatchers look like they can walk on two or four legs easily, using their forelimbs (and pearl) for balance. I would love to see a variety of dragons, and I'm sure we will, but I echo everyone's sentiments that it doesn't seem unfair to only have one or two breeds a specific or unique way at this point in the site's life.

@sagejamie Pretty sure Skydancers can at least stand on two legs too! And if you're looking for unusual locomotion, some friends and I are in agreement that Nocturnes probably most often walk on their hindfeet and their wings, like vampire bats. ^__^

I thought Coatls could walk upright as well. Also No support it does not seem unfair, maybe unpleasing, but not unfair.

Stuff will one day go here.
The wildclaws are obviously able to walk on four legs too; I always saw them like the Parasaurolophus, a quadrupedal dinosaur also able to walk on two legs. Long back legs, short front legs. Taking that in context, I'd guess that, using the balance of their wings and tail, most dragons would be able to stand on two legs, may it be for a short time or a longer time, like the Wildclaws. For example, I'd asume Fae have a much easier time than, say, Coatls, due to their body structure.

Support for more dragon breeds - biped or not doesn't really matter to me.

As for the Biped vs Quadrupeds discussion:

Going with the bodytype Skydancers, Pearlcatchers, Faes, Guardians, Tundras, Nocs, Ridgies and Mirrors would be very well able to stand and even walk short lengts on their hindlegs too. Considdering the many handcrafted items we have on FR it would actually wouldn't surprise me if ALL dragons managed to at least stand on their hindlegs to have teir hands free to work with them. Well besides snappers - the only breed that seems to be fully quadruped. So if anything to make it more 'fair' we need to introduce more 'non-handed/pawed' dragons to go with our poor snappers so they don't feel so alone. ;)

I too agree that more dragon breeds, of all body shapes, would be appreciated.

I am also puzzling over why it is 'unfair' that WCs are the one dragons who are 'standing' upright (the faes are 'floating' upright, but they very well could be another bipedal dragon).

Ok so unfair was a poor choice of words. However, Wildclaws are still the only bipeds. Yes other dragons can stand and probably walk for a short period on their hind legs, but that does not make them bipeds. Scientifically speaking. Dogs can walk on their back legs for extended periods of time but they are still quadrupeds. It refers to main type of locomotion. Whether it be 4 or 2 legs that they use mainly. And Wildclaws are the only ones that use 2. The only other dragon that has different locomotion is the nocturne. I was mostly saying for the sake of variety. Yes all the dragons are different, mirrors have 2 sets of eyes, tundras are floofy, imperials have antlers, Faye have fins, spirals are very serpentine, coatl are feathered, skydancers have 2 types of wings, snappers look like they are made of rock and so on. But they all have relatively the same locomotion, 4 legs, quadrupeds. I would just like to see more variety in the dragons. A new breed, perhaps something wyvern style, would be nice.
