Hello. While I think the crossroads revamp has been a largely positive change, I do have a few suggestions on how to make it easier for those of us who are participating in Dominance. The new system is very, very nice for trading a small amount of draons, but is not at all suited to trading lare numbers of them.

What exactly is the problem here, then? Namely the fact that all trades (I'm looking at the two-way trade here.. the one-way trade is a bit of a trust exercise on the senders part and therefor not the best for Dom, plus it takes us longer to catch them that way) needs to go back and forth to be fully accepted. Lets say player X sends me a dragon. I suggest a price, and send it back to them to accept that price. If they do, the dragon is sent to my lair.

But imagine if I have ten people sending me ten dragons for Dominance. I have the room, so I accept them all, but three people might've gone offline and are late to finalize the trade. But I really can't keep track of that in my head because dragon juggling is stressful enough, so I forget and fill my lair again. Then the sender accept the late trades - and the trade is denied because my lair is full of dragons. Or because I forgot about them and ran out of funds.

Dominance battles can be very hectic and the new system is making it a lot more complicated. So please, Admins... add a third option to the crossroads, namely the ability to send a dragon with a set price for a catcher to accept. This back-and-forth thing is great for expensive trades of kickstarter items and valuable dragons, but definitely not for Dominance.

I also want to add in the suggestion of removing the message limit, as it is possible that some trade negotiations will go on longer than that (I think it's currently at 10 messages?).

But full support, as the two way system is highly inconvenient for Dominance organizers

Yeah, no. The new crossroads is perfectly feasable for dom- it just might take learning how to use a new system. It's safer, easier, quicker, and smarter, and there needs to be no changes to it at all.

I feel like it's there to prevent spam/harassment. I would agree to raising the limit though.

But it can very quickly get very confusing when you have 20+ trades in various stages of approval. It's not broken, but it isn't very good either.

While I personally don't need it, I guess it should be possible to add some kind of 'classic' trade to crossroads? Or just add the possibility of asking for treasure to the one-way trades. I mean, we have the option for secure trading now, so the possibility of non-negotiable offers shouldn't hurt.

@Finnley

Again, not at all. One just has to learn how to manage one's crossroads, which they should be good at/used to doing if they're into dom pushing anyway.

@Div3rge But the problem is that the SENDER might not manage their crossroads.

@Finnley

Again, that's a personal issue and one that could occur just as easily with the old CR system. There is no need to make any changes to the new CR.

@Div3rge Ehm, what? How could that have happened in the old system? That was a one-way transaction. The sender would just set up a trade and it would be up to the catchers to accept the trades when they had the available funds and lair space, no problem what so ever.
