I'd support this if:
-It can only be used on perma-babies
-They make hatchling-specific apparel, so they don't have to draw every single piece of apparel for every single breed. For example, they could make blankets for hatchlings that cannot be used on adults, while adult apparel cannot be used on hatchlings.

Fully agree with this! It would be nice to see some apparel cross over (flowerfalls, maybe some bows), but I think permababy exclusive and hatchling-specific apparel is the way to go.

No, please. Only for permababies, taht would be fine. Again, hatchling specific items, too.

On hiatus, again--might come on here to see how things are doing but that's all.

Keeping track of those who have agreed and not agreed is your choice, but this isn't like we are voting. Even if the overwhelming number of people agree it doesn't mean the Administration will implement it. So keeping track is rather pointless.
As far as your suggestion, it is not the first time this has been suggested.
I believe that the main reason we do not have apparel for hatchlings is because they only remain hatchlings for 5 days before becoming adults. Unless you make them an eternal youth dragon you kind of waste the money to put apparel on a hatchling. Also if you have apparel on a non-eternal youth dragon the line art would be all screwed up when that hatchling became an adult.
Personally I could see a limited, very limited apparel for Eternal Youth Dragons. I am not sure if I would want to see the apparel on hatchlings, because when it becomes and Adult the apparel would mess up the Adult line art severely.
The work for the Artists would be to make 13 renditions of a single piece of apparel so it would fit all the different breeds. If we have 10 pieces of "baby" apparel that would be 130 different art renderings that the Artists would have to make.
It is a good thing that they decided to only go with one image for the hatchlings, because initially there were a male and female hatchling pose, which would have doubled the amount of "baby" apparel that would be needed to be drawn.
Since I do not have any Eternal Youth dragons I would not need to have this, but since others have them I can certainly see the appeal.
So since the apparel on a regular hatchling would mess with the Adult line art when the hatchling grew up I would have to no support general hatchling apparel. I could support limited apparel exclusively for Eternal Youth dragons, but they would have to have a way to code it so that the system recognized that the dragon was in fact an EY dragon.
So overall, I guess I am on the side of no support.

No support. It would be cute, but the staff would have to do mountain-loads of drawings to make 13 designs for every piece of apparel. They would never do it, too much work for too little benefits.

I support having some younster apparel. I mean If neopets can do it I don't see why flight rising cant. It doesn't have to be an extreme number of options but a small "baby apparel" day a year doesn't seem so bad. Just a few items to make perma-babies more desirable :)

basically
besides, if they implemented EY hatchling apparel, it might encourage more to EY their hatchlings, which in turn might encourage more users to buy gems, etc.
also pls just give my EY hatchlings more use

Hello, bringing this back because I think about this a lot. I intend to make at least one of my dragons eternally youthful, but I'm not sure if I want to just yet because of the lack of customization. I don't much mind the loss of breeding and fighting in the coliseum, but I like to customize dragons.
I agree that it should definitely not be done for all of the existing apparel, but rather that there should be apparel specifically created for eternally youthful dragons. I think it should not be able to be applied to normal hatchlings because it would create a problem with aging up - just EY hatchlings should get the apparel.
Finally, I completely agree with Moerae that it would encourage more gem purchases to get more scrolls. I would have several perma babies if I could customize them, and I know I can't be the only one.
