I find the current Baldwin sorting system to be a bit clunky. As it currently is, if I want to brew an item that is a level 10 item, I will have to guess about where it is in terms of page numbers.
I think it would be a lot simpler to make the page number the same as the level number, eg. page 10 would have all the level 10 items (as it is currently, page 10 has level 12 items, which to me is pretty unintuitive).

Haha, I was just grumbling about this over dinner. Supported! A lot of the lists on this site (cough, bestiary, cough) call for guesswork and clicking around from page to page. A better system would be much appreciated, FR.

I fully support for the exact reasons Zhukov pointed out - if it's sorted by level, if I remember the level I can estimate where it is, but occasionally it's not there and then I have to hunt the recipe down.

Support, finding ingredient recipes such as the phosphorus cube thingies and the bowls of not-cereal is really difficult!

I support this all day, every day, on the weekend and federal holidays. I did a quick count, there are 120ish apparel items to sift through!

17 Special Items (Genes, vistas, Bogsneak scroll and egg)
8 Baldwin Items(Vials, Cubes, Reductions)
4 "Food"
And then there are Skins/Accents and Festival Currency every holiday.

This so much, I've been thinking the same for quite some time now and I love Niomedes suggestion of also being able to sort by item type. I can never remember what level some things are and the more things that get added the more I struggle to remember even the basic things that I brew the most.
It just tends to get a bit annoying going through page after page, missing what I was looking for because I'm apparently blind as a bat, and then having to go back again through the pages again.

there aren't to may items to brew yet, and after a while you start to remember what page they are on. but as they keep adding things and the list grows very long, I'd love a better sorting system. or maybe something where you can name search (perhaps level search too?) for a specific item. c:

But I don't really see that, since a lot of the items I don't brew often enough to memorize the placement of.
I'd like this. But I'd also like to see an option to sort by how recently things were added.
(Also, a little blurb like in the marketplace to tell you if you have something, and how many you have)

i really, really want tabs like we do for the hoard and vault.
my ideal tabs set would be:
Food/Reagents
food first, reagents sorted by type and then level, so all the beakers in a row, all the reductions, all the sulfurs
Apparel
with sub-tabs by level
Familiars
sorted by level
Specialty
genes/vistas here, sorted by type and then level
if i'm feeling ambitious i'll come back and edit this to look nicer with the lists of items/sets in order under each tab.
