TOPIC | Hover Option of BBC Code
I have no idea how hard this would be to implement, but I think it would be great if when you hovered over a dragon's link image in the forums, that a detail box (much like the item pop-up) would come up with the dragon's info! Most people don't need to see stats or anything for a quick look, but details like their colors/genes/eye/name/base level would probably be enough.

I just think it would be a nice addition to the forum posts, and it would be very useful for selling forums, as people wouldn't always have to include that information into their posts!

Any other ideas related to this? Ways to improve? Yae or nay on something like this?

So like the box that pops up when you hover over a dragon in the auction house? If so, I'm all for that. Would be very helpful.

This is a really cool idea! And it shouldn't be too hard to implement in the coding; just add the <a rel="includes/dragonajax.php?id= " class="clue" title> code to the HTML of all dragons posted to the forums! (That's the thing that makes the hoverboxes appear in the AH and on the lair pages; ajax is a javascript that lets you view small bits of information without having to wait for a whoole page to load. "clue" is the cluetip, aka tooltip. This is also the code that makes hoverboxes appear over all items on the site, such as [item=nature sprite] and also on the full-body images of familiars on dragon profiles. Which leads me on to the idea that the hoverboxes should also show up when we post those familiar images the the forum, such as which is a thing I've wished for for a while... :D )

Oh god that would be wonderful ; _ ; )
It takes so much extra time and effort to include these things in sales posts - i'd much rather have a hover-box!

Honestly, that sounds like it could get real annoying real quick, esp if it was for every dragon link image. It's extra clutter and drain and can cause unwanted pagescrolling if you hover over it accidentally, like already happens with the items on small or zoomed screens. Now, if hover info had it's own coding setup, or had shrunken images like in the AH, I might be a little more on board.
