When you open any item-selection menu (CRs/PMs, AH, Baldwin, etc), the first thing to load is always the food tab.
All of the items in the food tab.
This slows everything down, which is particularly frustrating since I often don't need to be in that tab anyway. It has to be a fairly big draw on the servers, too.
What if the start screen of the item-selection menus only had the various categories, and nothing else loaded until you clicked one?
(There could still be tabs for the other categories at the top in case you make a mistake or change your mind.)
Wouldn't need to be implemented for the hoard, since everything's already broken up into pages there.

Ooh, support. It can get a little crazy sometimes, and this would help. Especially as I have so much food lol

Please. Opening the Auction House or Baldwin has gotten so bad that it makes pages temporarily stop responding.

Well, this is brilliant. Can we have this please?

Got my support, it's a waste that everything loads when you first open the hoard or AH

Support with all my heart! It freezes many people's browser for minutes, and consider some old players have tons of food, it actually becomes too burden for them to even trade with other players because of THIS.
Please let it not select any items under a category until we choose. It would save soooooooo much time and trouble.

This suggestion reminds me of a recent computer upgrade I had- my HDD broke, I replaced it with an SSD.
I didn't realize how slow and clunky it was until I switched. Now I am aware of how slow things load thanks to my 100 pages of food <_<
so, support

Glances at nearly always empty food tab
Still support sometimes I do still have food not converted and hey if it's a problem

I would love to see this, or at least the option to pick which tab is your default so that when I'm brewing through junk apparel I don't need to deal with the bug and plant graveyard that is my food tab.

This is a great idea, support. I know we're supposed to give reasons why and all, but I'm not sure what else I can add to this conversation besides stating its a great idea and gets my support.

If writers are supposed to "show not tell," why are we called "storytellers" and not "storyshow-ers"?
