I think I’ve seen one old forum on this topic but I’ve been experiencing this recently.
A lot of websites have a “dark mode” or theme that makes the colors and contrasts darker and much better for our eyes. What if Flight Rising had this? I usually just turn my pc brightness down 50% when I am going to be on FR for a bit but it is hard to read everything. Mostly at night so I don’t get migraines. I rather not get into the whole downloading and adding extensions when people have told me it’s against the rules. So how about just a dark theme or night mode for some of the main pages? (And obviously have a toggle in settings to turn this on and off, I love the original bright pages just not for long periods of time)

This isn’t just a matter of aesthetics, it’s a legitimate accessibility issue for people (like myself) with light sensitivity and migraines. I find my play time drastically reduced because of an inability to look at the site, even with the brightness setting as low as it can go on my device.
Reduced playing time equals fewer page reloads, which means less profit from advertising for the site as a whole. Considering the main source of revenue for the site is advertising, it seems very self-defeating for FR to not have this option.

I suspect it won't happen until after the site revamp is finished though, otherwise there's a good chance they'd either have to implement it twice - once for each domain knowing that one implementation is going to be discarded - or have some pages dark and some not which would be worse than all light, imo.
