TOPIC | Flight Rising mobile app?

Sometimes you have to take care of something when you're away, like incubating your dragon's eggs, feeding or gathering. I suggest that an app is developed to take care of these small things. Yes, I may not be the first person to suggest this, but hear me out. It wouldn't be the entire game. It'd just be the important things you need to do when you're away. I know the games or other functions would be hard to implement in an app. Incubating, gathering, feeding, or maybe even buying could be made into an app so you can do the daily activities on the go. I know most, if not all phones have a browser but I find it difficult to handle and think an app would be more efficient. Messaging or checking notifications could be made way easier for many.

You can access Flight Rising from your web browser on your cellphone! FR is actually really convenient to access for small things - only fairgrounds and coli have compatibility issues with older models, but everything else you mentioned? Can be done on the mobile website with no problem at all.

Apps are extremely expensive - we're talking tens of thousands of dollars. It's development time taken away from the website.

NO SUPPORT! I'm recently working on Android coding and I've noticed it is super hard. Php which flightrising uses itself is well hard. And thatself is harder to translate php to java. Then
To be honest, you could make an app that just allows you to do simple things on it. Feed your dragons, gather items, read and send messages, browse the forums/make them. It wouldn't include the fairgrounds or coliseum, because that would make it too complicated, but it's not impossible to do. Someone condensed a decent amount of the game Second Life into an app. They could make the app cost $1.99 or $2.99 (maybe more) to gain some of their money back and make it very obvious that you have to be signed up before you even get the app that way not many people can complain. It's really not that hard to make it very obvious, sure there will probably be some people who do it anyway, but if it's already plain obvious then it's their fault and they really can't do anything about it. This app would just make some of the more important features available on the move to those who want it. Also I feel like an app would also make it easier for people with busier life styles to remain active which could contribute to more funds in the future. I've thrown some money at this site and probably will throw some more at it, too. If they make an app? I'd buy it. I would imagine this would be a lot further into the future, easier if or when they open registration, but it would be beneficial to the website in the long run. I think it would be beneficial money wise (once they broke even) and will probably help maintain their player base. One of the big reasons that I became inactive for a two years was because this wasn't easy for me to keep up with in my life. Logging into the computer was a big no-no most days or there wasn't a computer around. Though I'd think people would settle for a lot better mobile friendly page if they don't want to spend all that money.
Also. May you've problem with visiting with browser?

If you search for similar suggestions, you'd see why people want or don't want apps, partial or full. No support, look at any previous suggestion why I think partial apps are even less useful than full.

No support, all the reasons listed in the comments.
FR's site itself is already phone device friendly, needing only a few optimization.

To be honest, I really support this, especially if you could make things useable offline. I go to a school with horribly dodgy internet and my parents have extremely strict blocks on my WiFi, but if things like breeding, feeding, apparel, etc could be done offline, that would be amazing!

@Arsenic33
Alas, offline would be physically impossible. All the data is held in a database at FR, you couldn't access it without the internet.

Well this sucks cause I can't see the damn font using moble browser and clicking something is nearly impossible for me. Laptop is toast so really bumming now every other game sight I use has a moble version. So it strikes me more that they just would rather add new content we don't really need instead of focusing on one solitary feature we can when on our phones.
So it strikes me more that they just would rather add new content we don't really need instead of focusing on one solitary feature we can when on our phones.
The sole solitary feature would cost at least ten thousand dollars to make. The new content we "don't really need" doesn't cost ten thousand dollars to make. Pick one.
