It would be pretty cool if two dragons with the same eye type were twice as likely to produce offspring with that eye type. EDIT: Excluding Common eye type Excluding Goat eye type (for now, e.g. recently released, has a vial) Excluding unnaturally occurring eye types: Glowing, Swirl, Dark Sclera
This Suggestion Has Nothing To Do With Already Existing Dragons
I've been thinking about this tbh. I don't know if it would be any help to breeding projects, but the logics there. (I'd almost say that having one parent with an eye type should increase it, and two should increase it even more)

What happens with unnatural eye types like glowing though? I suppose they're exempt? Do two glows get a tiny chance to produce a glow, maybe?

I would support that, it would certainly help with breeding projects and wouldn't change things too much.

Yeah, that would be nice. I get the idea behind “every hatchling is just as likely to get something special” but it’s basically impossible to breed a dragon from a certain pair that has primal, and still very difficult if you’re just going for “rare” or something. Giving just twice as likely for an already small chance sounds pretty fair.

For primal I’m not sure that would change the odds that much, from just around 0.5% to 1% if I’m correct about how rare the eyes are. I don’t think that small of a change would crash the primal market, I think a greater increase for eyes like primal might make sense too.

I think whatever is “taken away” should be taken away from common. So if you’re twice as likely to get unusual, you’re less likely to get common but just as likely to get multigaze as you want would with two common eye dragons.

Support for everything but those with common eyes. This does make a lot more sense- magical aptitude could be a deities gift to a family, or something
Don't support. I am trying to breed a primal out of several pairs and if all of a sudden uncommon eyes or faceted eyes are doubled, that makes my chances of primal even lower than the already disgustingly low odds there is now.
Support, but I think the increased chance should only 'eat into' the chances for eye types that are less rare than the type with the doubled chance, so that the mechanic is less likely to complicate situations like this. Ex. two rares would have less chance of common/uncommon/unusual eyes, but the same chance of multi gaze, faceted and primal. Also, @FallenAngel, I got the impression the suggestion was only for when the parents both had the same eyetype, in which case you could always use the eye type remover on one half of a pair (assuming they're just breeding project dragons.)

No support, at all. Breeding projects involving eyes are already profoundly awful. This would make it so much worse. You'd end up having to choose between dragons/pairs capable of increasing your odds of getting the eyes or ones with correct colors/genes/breed depending on what you are going for. Because unless you're looking for something dead common? You're very very unlikely to find breeding partners with the right qualities AND one of the rarest eye types.
