So one of the things that makes me sad about Flight Rising is that it's got this gorgeous world with all this lore and you barely ever see it.
That's why I'd like to propose making the gathering page an actual map. By default, it would show your home region with gathering icons in different places, but you could zoom out and pick different regions if you wanted.
I don't think it would be much slower than what we have currently, but there could be a quick drop-down version option for people who don't like the map maybe
Here's an example. The icons would be obviously bigger / more visible / less ugly but I threw this together in like a minute:
Could also maybe highlight a whole subregion the way the overworld map does?? I dunno. I just think gathering on a map would be cool.
