Would be nice if we would alter the focal point or head shot if you will, of our avatar dragon if we don’t want the picture to be exactly on the head for example

Cannot be seen because the focal point is on her head and the part I would like to be seen is not in that area

That'd be nice, sort of a drag and drop window to be moved around over the whole dragon's portrait, and placed where we want. I don't know if I'd want it to be able to show the familiars though, cause I think the moderators' avatars are familiars so it could get confusing.

This is a good idea, I like my icon but I'd like it more if I could juuuust move it a bit, so that his nose shows more.

Yes exactly another site uses a drag and drop method for their thumbnails. It seems simple enough and shouldn’t be too complicated an add on I would think

Well, I feel the moderators probably have their own special avatars to begin with, not really the ones the users use. I'm mostly worried that people might use such a mechanic, to intentionally or accidentally create some sort of questionable closeup. I feel that this could be difficult to moderate, because technically they're all just artwork on the site, that the artists themselves drew.

Hm not sure about that the only artwork should be on the skins of the dragon in the avatar I think but I don’t know I don’t see a lot of mods honestly unless it is to reprimand something instead of casually hanging out which is kinda sad but not really on this topic but anyways I don’t think normal dragon headshots will be a problem there will always be one but I think it would be just the occasional isolated incident

Maybe there could be a way for the system to detect that there’s an animal-based apparel piece on a dragon, and then that could be added as an option for an avatar? I’m not sure if that’s even possible tbh, but I know that animal apparel is usually in the same place for a particular gender/breed, just like a dragon’s head is always in the same spot

Yes please! or at the very least, the ability to flip the image because i want my dragons to face my post because I have quite a few pretty dragons that would be perfect avatars IF THEY FACED RIGHT.
