[/quote] Pretty much this. this would also present problems with the lineage system because it is set up to handle male/female dynamics and suddenly having it where two male or two female are in the lineages (even if one dragon was the opposite when the children were hatched) could be a huge problem. This would mean that such an item would have to only work on unbred dragons. I do not really want FR to turn into a 'toss enough money at a dragon and just scroll your perfect dragon' nor do I like the idea of items that are only able to be used on certain dragons (ie only unbred dragons). Last, as said in the quote, there is very little challenge involved in breeding, or finding a partner for dragons to breed. Breeding is also fairly predictible (if you want it) with basically only eye types and sex the 'random element'. While I do not want eye types to be random (there are simply too many of them for it to be an enjoyable mechanic for me, especially with no way to be able to influence or get specific eye types on a specific dragon), sex is only a 50/50 shot, a much better random element.

No support, something like this would be game breaking and would also require recoding the breeding system.

Support, but only if the sex change scroll is restricted to unbred dragons. Basically, the dragon CANNOT have been bred or confusion will follow. That's about it.
